To ask what cheap item you keep putting off buying?

Let me explain. I need a new measuring jug. The measures have been washed off my glass ones and my plastic one is not easy to read. They're cheap yet I have been struggling for about 2 years and never really sure I've measured correctly meaning some failed bread and the odd annoyance most days. Why haven't o bought one? I fear it's symptomatic of other flaws

Keep looking on Amazon at the things you can buy to keep your cables from TV Router Lamp etc tidy mine drive me mad , but that’s it just keep looking and don’t do anything about getting it why?

Ironing board covers. Mine is ancient and hideous but I really resent the price of them.

@Etinox and anyone else faffing with garlic presses, look into getting a GarlicTwist - they're about £20 from the proper site and are my favourite kitchen gadget, easy to clean too and you can grate sliced ginger in them as well :)

My ipod is held together with tape rather than paying to stream music via my phone.

Ive just made a pie which reminded me Ive been wanting one of those old tin pie dishes(like a plate really) what granny used to use and also an old fashioned bristle pastry brush instead of my rubbish silicone one which I can't get away with at all.

A phone charger, and small adhesive hook thing for the tea towels. So bored of buying faffy stuff that keeps breaking.

Potato masher ,its been snapped in half for the last couple of years

A new ironing board cover.
Had been ironing on an old sheet and blanket for years.

New kitchen hand towels.

Had been managing with some that were 16 odd years old.

This thread inspired me to buy TWO new ones. It's a delight .!

My two year old commented on the fact the peg carrier was broken today so I finally went onto Amazon and bought one.
