I’ve just re-watched A Star is Born and sobbed like there’s no tomorrow. Made me think about other films that have hit me hard.
Green Mile is another real sob fest.

Steel Magnolias loved them all in it but especially the relationship between Shirley Maclaine and Olympia Dukakis characters laughed and cried. Beautiful film about strong women and their relationships.

I think i must be heartless because I didn't cry over Marley and Me. It was a very sweet normal dogs life and he died of old age. I would probably have cried along with his owner if I'd been a regular reader of the column it was based on though.
A Streetcat Named Bob, on the other hand....I cried throughout.
