No.

Saoirse82 · 09/08/2021 22:08

No chance.

@eandz13

Yes really and that was a little harsh. He also does no housework or childcare despite her being the main breadwinner and demanded that she not go to the gym because HE’S unvaccinated. She’s been in couples counselling with him for years. She’s definately the winner here. Covid was the “straw that broke the camel’s back” perhaps I should have said.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 09/08/2021 22:21

That would be a game changer for me.

Msfoxy17 · 09/08/2021 22:22

Absolutely no way. I can't take anti-vaxxers seriously and couldn't be with someone I don't respect.

DeflatedGinDrinker · 09/08/2021 22:24

No. My sisters husbands like that though and my sister isn't.

stealingbeauty · 09/08/2021 22:37

Yes. I wouldn’t expect us to agree on everything.

TableFlowerss · 09/08/2021 22:46

My 25 year old extremely healthy brother died of Covid. As did my parents and grandmother. The point of the vaccine is not that you might be ok if you catch it, it’s to help others

@Maddiemademe

I’m sorry to hear about your family members. Seems very unlucky to lose a healthy 25 year old and 2 parents that couldn’t have have been much older than 60.

GalaxyGirl24 · 09/08/2021 22:49

Generally, all the most virulent anti semites/anti Zionists are on the left.

What utter shit.

Yes, many people have sensible concerns about the latest covid vaccinations.

Get a grip

shas19 · 09/08/2021 23:29

Ive had all the available vacancies and so have my children. But, i wont be having something that nobody knows about the actual long term side effects and made and rolled out in no time at all. Neither will i risk my unborn childs health because someone on mumsnet or wherever else thinks im an 'anti vaxxer' behave!

Botanica · 09/08/2021 23:30

Anyone who is scientifically minded/educated and has sensible questions/concerns about vaccines, yes, I am happy to have in my circle and interested to understand their viewpoints better.

Any covid conspiracists that copy and paste inaccurate out of context 'news' sources, actively encourage and influence others with poor advice, and have ever used the terms 'sheeple' or 'do your research', then sorry, you're no longer a friend of mine.

shas19 · 09/08/2021 23:34

People that are hesitant are not the same as people that are just not having it because they think the goverment or anyone else gives a shit about what theyre doing and theyve obviously inserted a microchip in their arm. Those people are fucking mental

Cryalot2 · 09/08/2021 23:37

No . But then my dh and family sadly all have had it and suffering after effects.
We have seen too many funerals and lost family .

You could be risking your unborn child by not having the vaccine though considering there are pregnant women in ICU with the delta variant,

www.theguardian.com/world/2021/aug/09/worrying-numbers-of-pregnant-women-in-intensive-care-with-covid

Regarding "long term effects" why would there any? You aren't continually taking the vaccine for a prolonged period of time as with many other medicines. You take it once or twice and then the vaccine degrades and isn't in the body anymore. And if you think it possible the vaccine could cause long term effects why aren't you worried about long term effects of covid itself?

polkadotpixie · 09/08/2021 23:48

I am. DH refuses to get the COVID vaccine and I had to threaten divorce in order to get DS's MMR done

It's extremely tedious and makes me seriously question his intelligence, it's not an attractive trait, at all

I'm very much hoping the vaccine passport becomes a thing and will look forward to seeing how long it takes him to change his mind when he's not allowed into a pub/gig/restaurant etc 😂

Eatenpig · 09/08/2021 23:51

No

EnjoyingTheArmoire · 09/08/2021 23:58

Not a chance in hell.

SecondCityShark · 10/08/2021 00:00

Nope.

Because it's not just that. They'd also be thinking that the vaccines cause genetic mutations because of 5G, that the moon is a hollow alien base, the earth is flat blah blah.

It's a belief system. My ex was strongly into all of that and yeah, never again. It's like a religion.
