To ask how many pairs of shoes you own

So I'm just curious. I have 17 pairs which I think is a fairly standard amount as it includes trainers, sandles, boots, high heels etc. I have a friend who has over 50 pairs and then my partner for example only has around 8 give or take a pair or two.

Pointless thread really but I'm curious

Lost count but well over 150 pairs. Storage is an issue, as is remembering which shoes I actually have!

Probably about 100…. I have the space and my feet don’t change size so there’s no real problem

I've got around 30 pairs from boots to high heels trainers and sandals I store them on top of my wardrobe in canvas boxes with lids so boots in one trainers in another ect. Most of them I have bought in last 3 years as before that I had no more than 5 pairs but I can afford a bit more now but I wouldnt get anymore than just replacements now.

Probably about 15-20.

A few pairs of running/walking shoes.
One pair regular trainers.
3-4 pairs daytime ankle boots
3-4 pairs of pumps/flat daytime shoes.
3 or so pairs sandals.
Pair of long boots.
5-6 pairs of nice heels or going out shoes that I never wear.

Storage?

party shoes are in the loft - wasn't going to get much used of them during the lockdown.

Summer shoes are in the loft during winter, and vice-versa.

Most used shoes are in shoe cabinets and cupboards in the hall.

Sport shoes, boots, less used shoes are in the garage.
Work shoes and shoes I wear less in the utility.

One pair of shoes and one pair of sandals.

About 18 I think. 3 or 4 of these are heels/smart shoes which I never wear. The rest are trainers, Birkenstocks and boots all of which get regular wear, according to season/weather.

Sandals, boots, smart boots, docs. That’s it.

Right now I have about 25. I’ve got rid of about 55 pairs in the past couple of years. I aim to sell on about 15 pairs over the next 6 months but it’s hard because I’ve really only got my favourites left now. Aiming to end up with 10 pairs (or so) but it will be a challenge to be that minimal I think.

16, including slippers. I think that's quite frugal. I tend to keep shoes for 3 to 5 years and wear them out.

3 - 1 pair of floral boots which are my go-to, 1 pair of formal plain black shoes, 1 pair of trainers - though now that my DDs have the same shoe size, those trainers keep wandering off with them.

About 18, most of which I'll wear fairly regularly when in season. I'm not really a 'shoe person' as I have a medical issue that slightly limits the styles I can wear. My oldest pair I've had for over 20 years I realised recently.

1x gardening/walking shoes
3x smart shoes/heels for work

I don't own any slippers. My DH has far more pairs than me.

1 pair ankle books

3 pairs smart shoes

1 pair sandals

So that's 12 in total.

I don't know. Probably around 100.

Anything that is over 10 pairs is nuts. Where the hell do you store them all?

No it's not. I love shoes. They make me happy. I store them mainly in shoeboxes, and some are allowed out to free-range around the floor.

So 13 pairs. 3 of them (rain boots / smart black boots, white trainers) are permanently stored on my stairs, 1 is permanently on my feet when I'm indoors (sliders), the rest is stored under my ottoman bed.

For those with similar numbers of shoes, Dunelm do a really nice shoe box - it’s round, looks canvas-y, cheap.
