Locked Parking Thread - The Actual End

This has been a wild ride made substantially more entertaining by DBs shenanigans but the end is in sight.

Hopefully by 8.35 the car will be free. I will be downing something alcoholic and next time the straw comes I'll make him bring it in by hand one bale at a time WITHOUT unlocking the gate!

I'm going to go for dignified and just let him out and convince myself that him moving it at all makes this a draw my victory. He no doubt will do the same and we'll both potter off happily into the sunset hopefully never to meet again!

Thanks @RookieRoo.

Holy shit! If she turns up with wine tomorrow, give her a note with the Mumsnet website on and the title of each thread to search up.

Then kindly suggest that when she has done with those - she visits the Relationships board.

What a fucking wanker

DobbyTheHouseElk · 03/08/2021 21:50

So guess those aren’t her kids then. Otherwise they’d have blabbed by now and no one leaves kids alone.

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 03/08/2021 21:50

Fucker!! Yes, update your facebook post with the lying egotistical tosspot's actions, treated your private property as his own personal carpark, messed you around, and not once has he said so much as a sorry.

Shame him!! Angry

itsgettingwierd · 03/08/2021 21:50

Well as if we did t already know it he's proven he's a self absorbed tossed Angry

ablutiions · 03/08/2021 21:50

Do you know what OP ? He is a total shitty , rude, self entitled, small Willied man. And wherever he goes in life that same shitty, rude, entitled, small willied wanker will be there. He can never get away from himself.

He's out of your life. Him and his ridiculous vehicle.

And you? You have a gorgeous, lusted after DB, a clear driveway and a nest of vipers who think you are great. You win Grin

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 03/08/2021 21:50

Because, logic dictates, if your car breaks down and needs to be kept somewhere, and you drop your DP off to collect it, you wouldn't leave them until you know the car is working.

Even though he knew the 'broken down' part was a complete lie, he still knew that it had been left standing a few days and the battery could have gone flat. Even if there was likely no possible issue at all, a decent person would still normally wait for the other person to start the engine successfully before they drove off.

Notapheasantplucker · 03/08/2021 21:51

He's an absolute cuntin.

Bagforlifeandthelifeafter · 03/08/2021 21:51

@Loubiemoo

I’m betting he’s a surgeon. No concept of time and hates being told no.
Since when would a self respecting surgeon drive a Ford ranger 🤣 And don’t you have to be clever to be a surgeon? Surgeons are twats but they’d be driving a jag or a Bentley
Cherrysoup · 03/08/2021 21:51

So he lied to his DP saying it had broken down?! Man, the lying cf!

MyOtherProfile · 03/08/2021 21:51

He drove the abandoned car off didn't he? I assumed that and then his wife drove the car they came in.

DrBlackbird · 03/08/2021 21:51
FOJN · 03/08/2021 21:51

What an absolute cunt.

Hugoslavia · 03/08/2021 21:52

Hang on. This ending makes no sense. Surely the kids would have told the mum that the car was locked in as they couldn't find parking? And hence why they had to cycle home. So she can't actually have believed that it had broken down! And even less so after getting into it and driving it away.

icelollycraving · 03/08/2021 21:52

What a tosser Angry

Fernando072020 · 03/08/2021 21:52

I do think he'll be seething though that you got one up on him multiple times. He's likely acting like he doesn't give a toss but deep down, he'll be really bothered that you gave as good as you got.

Cyw2018 · 03/08/2021 21:53

You haven't lost OP because when the daily mail report this thread they will be able to conclude the article with the fact that the mass that is Mumsnet resoundingly think his wife should LTB, and everyone local on FB will have worked out who it relates.

MrsReeves · 03/08/2021 21:53

OP if his wife calls round with wine, invite her in and befriend her. How awkward for CF when you call round for a cuppa and a chat, with your new best friend, at their house Grin

greenalltheway · 03/08/2021 21:53

Wow so many of us posted at the exact same time, so many cross posts. Ive never seen this much collective anger in a thread!

WiddlinDiddlin · 03/08/2021 21:53

What a snivelling useless little shit he is!

So he's told the wife it's been broken down and you are minding it and wasn't it lucky he managed to park it there and oh dear its awkward to arrange collection...

So she's no idea he's been pissing you about for days having ignored your request not to park there?

I do hope someone enlightens her!

I think you did well not to respond to her 'pride and joy' comment with 'actually he told my brother it was a fanny magnet'. (Again, not her fault).

I think you need to see this as your victory because he's been repeatedly thwarted in attempts to pick it up (through his own stupidity) and because with any luck this will be the incident that makes his DP see he is an irredeemable piece of shit and leave him for good. I have visions of you both sitting with your feet up in six months' time getting trolleyed and royally taking the piss out of this wanker.

Blamelesscars · 03/08/2021 21:54

Yeah don’t feel sorry for his wife she clearly knew! They came up with a plan together. She was good cop because they knew you would refuse him and get it towed!

If it she thought it had really broken down she would have been totally shocked when it started up and wouldn’t of let him drive off before she’s tried it otherwise she would have been stranded

I’m sorry op you’ve been played like a fiddle

Howshouldibehave · 03/08/2021 21:54

What a twat!
