This has been a wild ride made substantially more entertaining by DBs shenanigans but the end is in sight.

Hopefully by 8.35 the car will be free. I will be downing something alcoholic and next time the straw comes I'll make him bring it in by hand one bale at a time WITHOUT unlocking the gate!

I'm going to go for dignified and just let him out and convince myself that him moving it at all makes this a draw my victory. He no doubt will do the same and we'll both potter off happily into the sunset hopefully never to meet again!

I always wanted to live on a farm.

Wot with this and the previous horse owner saga I am thinking it all sounds really rather stressful

Right now its quiet and peaceful if that helps? The sun is shining, birds singing, and just me tapping away loudly on my keyboard swatting a cat away because she insists on trying to sit on it whilst I type.

We only have insanity periodically and I think that's me. I seem to attract the oddness. Did you also know another skill I have is I can find a shop that sells Magic cards (trading card game not magic magic) in any town / city that has one even if I have never been there before. Its a very very lame superpower.

I know some people think this is a troll thread but this is nothing compared to some previous shenanigans we've had. We don't get them much now because between better fencing, people having mobile phones so calling for their own assistance and more police patrols in the car park we get left alone. But some of the stories are truly in the realms of insane.

I have 1hr to do a workout, shower and sit on the couch furiously refreshing this thread...Its an exhilarating evening ahead!

Opens gate
CF: *gets in silently" shouts "Cheers, mate" out the window

or

Once safely in his BeastMobile, shouts "about fucking time, love"

What wouldn't have crossed his mind, would be picking up some flowers/chocolate and actually making an apology.
