Come on OP, tell us more about how 8:30 was arranged! Did he ask nicely when you were available? Text anything that could be vaguely construed as an apology? Shoehorn in another gratuitous reference to X?

Me - You need to make arrangements to collect your vehicle within the next 24 hours. This needs to be a mutually convenient time so that I can be there to unlock the gates and lock them immediately after your exit. After 24 hours I will be taking legal action to remove the vehicle.
Me - Having taken further advice from a MN poster that action will be to arrange for the removal of the car by tow company. They will be collecting the car at 5pm on Wed 4th Aug. Any collection arrangements after that point will need to be made directly with them.
CF - I can swing by tomorrow around 5pm.
Me - Thinking WTF - That's too vague for me I need a specific time that is stuck to so that I can make sure I am in. The most suitable times for me are 7am sucker, between 12:30 and 1pm or I could possibly attempt to return home for 4:30pm but that would be cutting it fine with the tow truck if I got delayed....
CF - I am busy tomorrow day so evening would be better.
Me - Would need to be this evening then. Tow truck is coming at 5pm tomorrow. 7.30 works best for me. Is that suitable for you?
CF - I meant tomorrow evening but in order to get this resolved ill be there this evening.
Me - I need a specific time. I am not always at the property to open the gates and could be anything from between 5 mins and a couple of hours away. If you are happy to wait for me then no worries.
CF - I'm not sure when ill be free. I'll be there around 9. Can you leave the gates open?
Me - No. I have to have the gates locked. I will not be available that late in the evening. The latest I could do is 8pm. After that I have commitments I can't change.
CF - Around 8.30 is the earliest I can get there.
Me - Fine. If you are late I will need to go and you'll have to collect from tow company.
