How many duvet covers do you own?

Not a TAAT but obliquely inspired.

I own 3 but only use 2. None are themed in any way, quite plain.

So you have themes? Seasonal duvet covers? Where do you store them, how often do you change/rotate them and when do you get rid?

Three for each bed - I was brought up on the "wash one, wear one, air one" rotation instilled in me by my matriarchal family. Change weekly because I'm peri and a sweaty article in bed. Have a wool duvet which helps, but still a bit of a sweaty betty, hence the user name.

Probably about three for each bed, DS and I have Christmas ones and OH has a flannelette one for the winter which is really heavy and takes ages to dry

I also confess to having several children's one including 35 year old DS1's Mickey Mouse

  1. 1 for each bed. I wash/dry put back on in the same day.
