To ask if anyone is actually enjoying this weather?

I have felt sick and tired all day. Can't get comfortable, didn't sleep last night etc. Is anyone actually enjoying it as I am certainly not. Dreading work tomorrow also.

I love it but other than a machine load of washing and a trip to the shop to buy ice cream I’ve achieved very little and hardly moved from the garden sofa dh built yesterday.

Love it. It is so rare to have such lovely weather and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

YANBU. It probably wouldn’t be so bad if we had a lovely garden with pockets of shade or something. As it is, it’s horrible.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I am not enjoying this heat. 😕 couple of degrees cooler and I would be happy out

I can deal with it until it goes past about 20 degrees then I just become a lethargic, sticky, irritable mess. My skin is like Velcro and my hair is frizzy, I look as shit as I feel. At least it isn’t raining.

Love it!! Have been relaxing in the garden with my book all afternoon after an early morning dog walk in the woods.

I live in a old stone barn too which is very temperate so no problems sleeping. Realise I'm pretty lucky with this!

I am as its making me relax and do nothing, sitting in the back garden.

My bedroom is 32 degrees. It drops to around 28 in the night. I'm miserable. I do love it abroad because I have a pool to cool off in.

It's over where I am. Grey and cloudy today.

I don't mind the days at all, but can't bear the night. I was up at 3am, wrapping a very hot cocker spaniel in a tepid towel and sitting on the back door step with him. It was really nice and cool, and I nearly fell asleep there until I heard something rustling in the garden! Was back up at 5am walking the dogs, and DH had kept me awake most of the night with his restless legs............ am falling asleep typing this. Roll on 8pm.

Actually enjoying it this year. Normally I'm moaning. Nice to just read and sit in the paddling pool.

I love it - but the good news for you (bad news for me) is that it is like this for a few weeks at most scattered over the whole summer. It's not hot for 40+ weeks of the year, even in a year with a particularly hot summer. So it'll be back to weather you like soon enough!

Well I was yesterday. I spent the day Wild Swimming, picnicing and kayaking - it was lush.

Today however I have river water stuck in my ear and feel like I am stuck in washing machine. So my smugness at life came back to bite me

Has it occured to you that those people can't understand you for saving that you love it?

Yes, I'm loving it. We've been out and about all weekend and it's the best weekend we've had in a very long time. Sitting outside with a beer and Uno now, made all the sweeter by the fact that we've got a week's annual leave coming up - no Sunday Evening Doom.

Yes, I love it. Instantly feel better when it's warm or hot and sunny.

The only caveat to that is I make sure I've got what I need to stay comfortable - wearing cycling shorts under skirts to avoid chub rub and ensuring I've always got a drink.
