To ask if anyone is actually enjoying this weather?

I have felt sick and tired all day. Can't get comfortable, didn't sleep last night etc. Is anyone actually enjoying it as I am certainly not. Dreading work tomorrow also.

@MackenCheese camping in this heat is one of the most hideous things ever 😩😩. I will never forget opening the oven, I mean tent door every time we got back to the tent.

Yes. I have never understood people who have recommended camping under canvas at Lake Garda for example. Give me an air conditioned bedroom.

Yeah nah I'm not a big fan of having to sit in darkness all day because I need the curtains drawn, not being able to sleep, and seeing all the smug people who can spend it in their big gardens while I swelter nervously in a highly flammable cladded London block.

Ah, but you probably haven't got a blackout tent that gets cold in the evenings, and stays cool all night....! I agree it's like an oven in the day time.....

I like it but only because we've installed airconditioning (one fixed unit and one portable unit). It's a misery if you can't cool the house.

Not too great for running either although I just try and slow down/take it easy.

I couldnt sleep last night for the heat, bedroom 28 degrees. feeling so tired today

Just popping on to say I'm still loving it. The DC and I have spent all day splashing about in the river, and now I'm relaxing in the garden before making a light dinner - which we'll eat in the garden. Fab.

BBQ fifth night in a row... what's not to like?!

Yes. Enjoying it. But I have a thick walled house that stays cool and we live very close to the sea and rivers to cool down in.

Apart from having to work in a stuffy office I’m quite enjoying the weather.

I get out of bed an hour earlier to walk the dog through the woods. He cools off in the river. Just as I’m going out the door for work DH arrives home from work. Dog spends the day on his cooling mat in front of a fan.

I arrive home at 4.15pm and spend a few hours in the garden, doing nothing 🍸 We eat around 9pm, usually salad because I CBA to cook. We have had a few BBQ’s. I take dog to the beach after 10pm where me and dog swim in the sea. It’s lush!

I don’t think I’d like it much if I had to run around after toddlers all day though. I’ve already done that so it’s time for me now.

I am! But I'm on mat leave with a baby and a toddler who currently has to isolate so we're pretty much slobbing around the house and garden with all the windows and doors open and not a care in the world!

It would be trickier if I was working or having to be out & about.

No cos I'm at work. If I wasn't I'd like it.
