I thought it was a joke, a photoshop job, a hoax even but it's not.

WTF

A children's entertainer in a library with this costume?

🤣🤣🤣

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 14/07/2021 11:21

@brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This morning I saw :
  • A real dog’s bollocks
  • A real horse cock

And I thought : “jesus, what if a child had seen that ???”

Make all animals wear underpants for the sake of the children

And here it is, the stupidest thing I'll see all day.

Moving on ...

Ninkanink · 14/07/2021 11:23

That’s the level of intelligence and critical faculty these people have.

ResIpsaLoquiturInterAlia · 14/07/2021 11:36

The hard of thinking are at large today. Need to educate to differentiate between human and animal world regarding reproductive biology. What is offensive and inappropriate to young children includes a person with inappropriate external body parts on display dressed up in a multiple colour half human half monkey or fictional beast suit. Beggars belief stupidity and ignorance for little children to endure on any possible level. Did that person think it was suitable to wear that in a child’s library for children to see?

Not that I know much about this part of outer London or it’s council policies but it does not reflect well and put Redbridge on the map for all the wrong negative publicity reasons.

It’s one of those areas that has had the most dramatic demographic change in the past two or three decades. Very strongly BAME now and a lot of mosques. I hope the huge local Muslim community isn’t part of the motivation for it. It’s certainly not a community where this kind of stuff will go down well.

This is what you directly support, shout and distract and 'but corbyn' all you like, you are voting to show this support. Next it will be abortion law. You dont seem to understand that not likinng labour doesnt mean you have to support a party which contains this scum at high levels. Who are you talking to BrozTito, because you haven't tagged anyone? Also you're derailing this thread. Maybe start one of your own?

nolongersurprised · 14/07/2021 12:05

Broz

Children being groomed in plain sight is highly concerning and those who condone it are problematic. Don’t minimise this issue with whataboutism.

..And this is helpful because in real life, five year olds kids need to know that rainbow monkeys wear dildos?

Link to a tweet with a screenshot of a full apology from Mandinga Arts - it’s a screenshot as the Mandinga Arts twitter account is now locked.

I'm glad that there is such a good illustration of the issue in recent comments.

Surely nobody is this stupid? I worry about the level of intelligence in this country sometimes.
RedDogsBeg · 14/07/2021 14:30

A typical non-apology apology - sorry you were offended, we've used these costumes and done these performances before round children and got away with it, so what's your problem? Don't blame anyone for doing anything wrong, don't look closely or comment on the costumes and the way our performers have behaved previously around children, but yeah we're sorry we offended you, now can we get back to business, oh and we've 'retired' the monkey costume now so can you just shut up.

RedDogsBeg · 14/07/2021 14:34

Surely nobody is this stupid? I worry about the level of intelligence in this country sometimes.

It is worrying isn't it, even more so when you realise that they are seemingly deemed to have enough intellectual capacity to vote.

waterlego · 14/07/2021 14:35

@brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Do you also think it would be ok for children to watch adults having sex because after all, they can watch animals having sex when they go to a zoo or farm?

ScreamingMeMe · 14/07/2021 15:52

An excellent question which you of course will not get an answer to.

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 14/07/2021 16:07

yes you will

was this colourful monkey character having sex with someone ?

Ah, more "but animals don't have to abide by human social norms".

Do you know what sensible and responsible humans do with male dogs and horses, if they don't intend to breed from them? They castrate and geld them, to stop them engaging in sexual behaviour.

Is this what you're proposing we do with a bunch of carnival performers? Seems a bit harsh!

Keepemguessing · 14/07/2021 16:29

was this colourful monkey character having sex with someone?

The performer and another performer were simulating sex in the library.

Furries · 14/07/2021 16:35

I literally feel like facepalming with a giant dildo. Would be less painful than your contributions today. 🤦🏻‍♀️🍆
