There should be no England fans at final IMO

I cannot believe there is not more disgust at the actions of one (or more) English fan(s).

Aside from trying to cheat way to an England victory by distracting the goalkeeper during a penalty, lasers are phenomenally dangerous to eyes. The goalkeeper could have retinal damage.

I think a “lesser” nation would have been kicked out, but England won’t. But in my view the fans should be banned - there has to be consequences for criminal actions. Otherwise it will happen again.

Suspect I’ll be in the minority but it’s frankly embarrassing we have fans who do this.

Perhaps if English fans can't behave, they should be banned from international competition?

As I said, I wanted England to win. I am very unhappy they have not - not least as I have two very upset (English) children.

I am particularly gutted for Marcus Rashford as I think he an absolute legend and I dread to think of the racist abuse that is now going to come his way.

But the England team should be incredibly proud and as horrible as tonight and the next while will feel, the experience tonight will make them a far stronger team at the World Cup next year.

I attended one of the matches and leaving the ground saw how one of the major Tv networks very much encouraged a small bunch of England fans to behave in the manner many here seem to expect …rest of us walked on by but next AM on breakfast time news the noisy group were front and Centre, no sign of the several hundreds England and other fans walking past the group being filmed thing WTF…
