Yes I am ok thank you for asking.
My implants are still in.

It was very hard though. At one point they thought one the infected one needed removing. If that happens then they can't replace for six months.

Thankfully it all turned out ok but for me one looks different. No one else can tell but I can. That has been the bane of my life ever since. Hence I want them done again but knowing the risk I literally annoy go through it again. [/quote]
Glad you are ok. Flowers

@tillytoodles1

My daughter had one as an 18th birthday present from us.
Oh my fucking God. I hope you only share that info in anonymous fora like this.

I was also very flat chested but waited until I was in my mid thirties before having a boob job. The operation transformed my body shape in a very positive (and natural looking) way. I should have had them done years before. Support her OP and make sure she does lots of research and goes to a reputable clinic.
I was in my early 40s, and had under the muscle implants. They aren't enormous, just enough to make me well proportioned. I had no pain after the op, no complications and 15 years later I have no problems, no back ache or sagging and can go braless. I've never regretted it.

I would say she should wait and see if she develops further (although I never did, even post babies and breastfeeding), then research thoroughly. I went to a surgeon known for conservative work, who doesn't work in one of the cosmetic clinics. It will be expensive - mine, all those years ago, was nearly £6000.

@Fairdosmun, why do you think it was a parenting fail? She was eighteen, so an adult and she had it done ar rhe local BUPA hospital by a fully qualified surgeon. Shes in her thirties now and happily married. She was thrilled with the resultlls at the time, she went from an A to C cup, and still is.

If her self esteem came down to the size of her chest and you endorsed that by paying for needless surgery then you failed as a parent. Pretty straightforward, surprised you didn't understand that. Well, not really considering.

Agree this thread is massively depressing - “yay choice!” - why are people cheering this on rather than encouraging a young woman to focus on improving her self-esteem? Talk about turkeys voting for Christmas

I agree with this.

Why are we encouraging women to value themselves based on their breast size for goodness sakes ??

I really don't get it. If she'd..had a huge nose or big sticky out ears, , then I would have paid for that too.
