Kids abandoned downstairs

I feel really so rough. Husband is away taking exams.
Bloated- so so sore
Abdo pain
Back ache
Fatigue
Muscle aches

I just can't be arsed. I've never been Bloated I'm my life until this week and now it's almost constant. A couple of weeks ago I was tested for thyroid issues as my periods are messed up and the tiredness and aching.

The kids pop up to say hi every so often and I've just chucked cereal at them. Please tell me this is ok? I have no local family

Constipation causes left abdo pain. Sometimes appendix pain can be on the left. Ovarian cyst is more common than cancer and can cause these symptoms. Have you ever had endometriosis?
Hard abdo sounds like peritonitis or pregnancy.
Hope you get some answers soon OP, and some relief.

"I kind of actually wanted reassurance about my medical symptoms."

No-one on MN can give you reassurance about your medical symptoms.

"My 4 year old can tell you about gravity, carbon dioxide and enjoys listening to his heart using daddy's stethoscope but will he sit and colour between the lines? Like heck will he"

Is your DP a medic/paramedic but you expect random folk on MN to reassure you about your medical symptoms?

2andahalfpints · 06/06/2021 17:57

Surely this isn't real 🙄

CovidVaccinatorintheMaking · 06/06/2021 18:05

I’m gonna bet a KitKat OP gives birth over night. Probably to twins and the smaller kids will deliver it than cook everybody a fried breakfast

SheilaWilcox · 06/06/2021 18:05

@SmidgenofaPigeon

To be honest OP I think you need a big poo, a straight story and to get on with some parenting.
Was thinking the same.

3 & 4 yr old are self sufficient, but mother (of unknown age) can't work out how to call 111 for medical advice.

Yeah now that the ‘are you sure you’re not pregnant’ seeds have been sown, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

TeenTitan007 · 06/06/2021 18:06

@Heartofstrings I have this condition on and off regularly. Can't say for sure if it's the same thing you have but mine is bloating due to gas. The pain is excruciating and I can barely speak for a few hours. I need to lie on my left for hours together until I feel better. I usually fast completely except water and if hungry I have freshly cooked rice with plain yogurt. Seems to help. Water steeped with carom seeds are the best natural remedy. It can be triggered by certain foods, too long a break between meals or just tight clothing/trousers sometimes. Hope you feel better soon.

Made of it's own fried placenta

Yes! Instead of black pudding

I have a 6yo with asd/adhd and a 3yo and no way would I leave them unsupervised for more than 30 seconds while I nip for a wee.

I have lupus, which causes swelling, joint pain, severe fatigue, and last year I had my gallbladder removed after a year of agonising bloating/pain. My consultant called me Iron Man for putting up with it so long before getting surgery, actually I just had no choice, I had to parent.

If you're so ill you can't get out of bed then you need your DH to return home, and call a doctor.

Btw I did look up RPR. It looks like snake oil to me, but by all means waste your money on mineral tests of your child's hair and stroking them with a golden wand. They will still be autistic.

Heartofstrings · 06/06/2021 18:21

This is cracking me up. I'm actually not a troll

@sadie9

Take 2 paracetamol and then the pain will go away. You can find out what's causing it later. It could be gastritis in which case try some over the counter omeprazole. Are you over 40? If so it could be the start of perimenopause.
I cannot express enough how a regular prescription of double strength omeprazole changed my life. My GP and I got a bit tearful discussing it, as I'd been having so many issues for so long. 40mg every morning. Amazing.
Heartofstrings · 06/06/2021 18:23

The hospital came back with the results of my questionnaire and said it's not autism. I can only do so much with that information.

I can't say much more.

I've never been accused of being a troll before. I have a very long posting history under various names starting with my mmc, then my wedding, then my eldest son, then my youngest son.

I'm mid 30's....nearly. My periods have been light for about 18 months. I get about 1.5 days of light bleeding now.

And ds1, even at his worst could be channelled to bake a cake or make a bird feeder or somesuch activity

TheYearOfSmallThings · 06/06/2021 18:27

Yep, this is a surprise twins thread.

Scrambledcustard · 06/06/2021 18:38

My friends kids go to a Montessori and no way would they advocate a 4.5 year old making toast and scrambled eggs. Do they put the scrambled eggs in in the microwave OP or heat them gently with butter over a low light?

MissBridgetJones · 06/06/2021 18:40

Don't want to be alarmist..this is how I felt for 4 days... then went downhill rapidly... whipped my appendix out at 3am on day 5.

Well he is off right now taking medical type exams. However he is positive its nothing serious but adamant she needs help of a GP. Maybe the 4 year can diagnose it with daddy's stethoscope

Due to the behaviours you described they wouldn't have written off autism due to a questionaire. I've been through the diagnosis process, that's not how it works.
NavigationCentral · 06/06/2021 18:54

Story spun. Holes everywhere. Brain exploding.

Plumbear2 · 06/06/2021 18:56

Plus if your son was bad enough to require some kind of therapy 6 weeks still isn't enough time to turn it around and trust him regardless of the diagnosis. 4 year olds have little common sense. The behaviours you described can still come back.

TowandaForever · 06/06/2021 19:07

@Plumbear2

The questionnaire is a screening tool. My child hasn't been assessed because her school won't support us and won't let a teacher who knows her fill in the forms.
