Let me explain.

I'm a very casual dresser. You'll find me in joggers, jeans and Hush harem pants, with a t shirt or sweatshirt, weather dependent. And I stick to this uniform all year round

I don't own a single dress - well, I didn't until yesterday. When on a whim I bought 3. And I've put one on today and I keep inwardly thinking ' OH MY GOD! I'm wearing a dress!' as it feels so alien to me to do so. Like I should be going to a bloody garden party or something - and this is just a jersey midi dress with nicely covering short sleeves and goes well with trainers etc

So .. what do you wear day to day if you're not leaving the house? Would you even consider putting a dress on?

Received Popsy Dress today. Not sure to be honest. Very high up waist. But will be okay as a summer dress for pottering around at home. Will take scissors to the belt loops tho as not needed.

I very very rarely wear dresses (I have really thick legs and ankles and childhood comments from my parents still haunt me). I only wear full lengths dresses and only for formal occasions and these have to be slit free. I tend to find that casual full length dresses in the shops near me tend to be billowing or very flowing so I feel like a sack of potatoes. Picked up some great dresses in Wallis years ago but haven't come across anything similar (without costing the earth) for ages.

It takes prep, make sure legs are shaved, nicer pants in case there's a gust of wind, remember not to bend over too far etc. Then there's the chub rub, that's what I hate the most!
