My mum has nearly 12000 twitter followers.

I have like 10. She’s got loads of famous people following her too. A lady in her 60s, that’s a head gardener. Kim Wilde, Kerry Katona, and Charlie Dimmock!

She’s head gardener at Waterperry Gardens 😆 find her yourself.

At least she won’t know which one of her daughters finds it so weird.

She reeled off another list of celebs that followed her and I was just a bit shocked.

But to me, she’s just my shy mum, that hates any attention. It’s just a different world to me!

She’s not ‘just’ a gardener. She’s a bloody knowledgable plants person. Those gardens are beautiful.

Waterperry Gardens are extremely well known and have a long and fascinating history. If your Mum is head gardener then she's a very skilled person. Of course she's capable of getting a decent following on Twitter. I find it more bizarre that you're this ignorant....

How old is she? Probably in her late 40s or early 50s...the same age as many successful, educated and hard working women.

Have you never noticed that shy people stop being so shy when they’re in their element, sharing their passion? She tweeting plant pictures. That probably doesn’t feel very exposing.

I’ll give you half a gasp for Kerry Katona being on gardening Twitter, though.

To be fair I don’t get Twitter.

I love her and shes my world. She got a career whilst bringing up young daughters alone. (Who’ve totes turned into lovely 30 something young women)
