7:30 lawn mowing (tomorrow, friday)

I get on really well with the neighbours so don't want to upset them.

Both sides are usually up well before 7, but it is school holidays here.

I'd just do it, it's a one-off. 7:30am is not even early.

For someone who is up and out at 6.30 for work then if it were my day off and I was woken at 7.30am I’d be raging.

Only inconsiderate neighbours would make noise before 8am in the morning!

Don’t do it, the grass won’t cry if it doesn’t get done for another 2 weeks, I’m baffled as to why you’ve left it for 6 weeks but must absolutely do it at 7:30am because it’s very important? Just do it now or leave it

Im sure you can think of multiple reasons as to why someone could not mow their lawn in the very second mumsnet users were demanding they did. Multiple reasons.

Ok you can't do it now, but it's been 6 weeks. It's obviously not been a priority in all that time, so why the sudden urgency to cut it at 7.30 on a Friday morning?

If you need to leave the house at 8, 30 minutes isn’t long to mow an overgrown lawn, unless it’s tiny, in which case I’d just leave it.

You only have to wake someone up once for their lie in to be ruined. No way you'd get back to sleep.

My sleep habits are no one else’s job to worry about and vice versa.

@HypocriteHunter visited one neighbour, whatsapped one neighbour. Time wasn't the issue... Time isn't the only reason people cannot do things.
