So many posters have twins! And given it can be easy to forget from one thread to the next whether you've had a multiple birth, I wondered if a general twin register might be helpful. Feel free to have a good rummage around at home to see if you have any.

Two sets of twins within 20 months (plus a 4 year old). My elder set are non-id and my younger set are ID.

If I'm out with the younger set and one of the elder twins people presume they are triplets. If I'm out with all four people presume they are quads as they are all the same height. I often get asked about them as people try and figure out the twin, triplet, quad thing.

My maternal grandfather and grandmother are both twins and my nan's twin had twins.

Three sets of identical girls in my younger twins year plus a B/G set. And a set of ID triplet girls.

My mum is a twin, I'm a twin, my MIL had brothers that were twins and my dh is an identical twin. So four sets in two generations, but none of my generation have had twins.

My work colleague had twins (boy and girl) and parents to one of my daughter's class mates had twins (boy and girl) and my aunt is a twin (two girls) and my best friend id a twin (two girls).

It's not that uncommon it appears
