They are keeping Andrew out the way, arent they?

On the bbc news, 3 out 4 of the queen's children wished to say something in tribute to their father...

Andrew is obviously been kept on the back burner. They must know there's only so much the less fawning of us can take.

OP posts:
Roussette · 12/04/2021 15:11

Exactly. The law is different for this member of the RF. One thing though if he is not questioned in person by the FBI... he will never be able to go to the States again.

StarCat2020 · 12/04/2021 15:12

To a foreign country?

Taketheredpill · 12/04/2021 15:13

@Alsohuman

Innocent until proven guilty in this context is another attempt at distraction @ Alsohuman

Try that in court and see how you get on. The ignorance here is shameful and the belief in mob rule.

And, by the way, your half apology for your earlier completely groundless accusation is accepted.

How gracious . Thank you

I got the wrong poster re the eastenders reference .

I still contend that you are in handful of posters who are attempting to downplay this situation.

Alsohuman · 12/04/2021 15:16

@SelkieIntegrated

Alsohuman are you for real?
Completely. Why? Did you think I was a hologram?
CathyorClaire · 12/04/2021 15:16

Had he ignored the waiting reporters who asked him about his deceased father not doubt the same critics would be on their hind legs baying for blood

I'd have taken it as an indication he was still abiding by his statement of November 2019 indicating his withdrawal from public duties for the forseeable future.

Getting up on his hindlegs on national TV suggests he thinks he's done his time.

SelkieIntegrated · 12/04/2021 15:32

@Alsohuman because you seem to it's an injustice of some sort that ponce andrew is not being compelled to co-operate with the justice process.

Odd.

No, I don’t think that at all. I think assuming guilt without fair trial is injustice. I’m coming to the conclusion that there are some very challenged comprehension skills on this thread.

forfucksakenett · 12/04/2021 15:41

We don't need to assume guilt or not.

What he's done, or not done, so far is more than enough for us to form a negative opinion of him.

SelkieIntegrated · 12/04/2021 15:44

Yours amongst them.

He needs to answer questions and he is using his position of privilege to avoid submitting himself for questioning.

I hope you can understand that, but if you don't, well, keep up the good work defending his right to be regarded as innocent while he uses his privilege to avoid being answerable to FBI.

an excellent use of your time.

Or he could have said ' thank you for your kind words' and moved on.

Instead, with zero shame, he launched into an address to the nation where he tried to posit his father as the grandfather of the nation Hmm

Taketheredpill · 12/04/2021 15:46

@Alsohuman

Do you agree that Andrew should cooperative fully with the FBI in person and answer whatever questions they may have ?

Roussette · 12/04/2021 15:46

OK... so I agree innocent until proven guilty. But I could type all day about all the stuff he is guilty of. Let alone a friendship with a convicted paedophile that he only gave up when he was rumbled. And allegedly sleeping with trafficked minors.

There are plenty more dodgy deals with Andrew. Nothing he can be tried for because he is protected by the Queen, but have a look at his Wiki page.
Focus on corruption and Kazaksthan, Arms deals, Questionable language, and then of course Sex abuse allegations.

Just for all of that, I can think he should not show his face on television. Not tried in a court of law. But an objectionable shady man who is protected by his mother.

'I'd have taken it as an indication he was still abiding by his statement of November 2019 indicating his withdrawal from public duties for the forseeable future.'

Withdrawal from public duties does not equate to not talking to the media as he left church about the death of his df. If he'd have been cutting red ribbons or whatever you'd have had a point.

Roussette · 12/04/2021 15:48

What he's done, or not done, so far is more than enough for us to form a negative opinion of him

Exactly! See my post above

Roussette · 12/04/2021 15:49

Withdrawal from public duties does not equate to not talking to the media as he left church about the death of his df

Why not?
Why did he have to? There's enough other members of the RF talking about Phillip.
He could've swerved it very easily. But he chose not to. His arrogance coming to the fore again just like with the Maitlis interview.

SueSaid · 12/04/2021 15:50

'Do you agree that Andrew should cooperative fully with the FBI in person and answer whatever questions they may have ?'

Not aimed at me but I'll answer. The FBI should use whatever protocols they have in place to question a foreign national. If that is getting the Met to investigate well get on with it. This constant waah'ing that he won't answer questions when he has in fact offered witness statements is ridiculous.

Taketheredpill · 12/04/2021 15:52

Witness statements are entirely different as you well know

SueSaid · 12/04/2021 15:53

'There are plenty more dodgy deals with Andrew.'

Alleged. If he has broken the law provide the evidence and prosecute. Until then people really should stop calling him a 'kiddy fiddler' or 'paedo'.

Taketheredpill · 12/04/2021 15:53

@alsohuman has been very vocal about the rule of law so I’d be interested to hear her reply .
One word will do , yes or no

SelkieIntegrated · 12/04/2021 15:53

Yeh, innocent til proven guilty is meaningless if you hide behind royal apron strings to avoid the first stage in the process.

You cant cling on to "innocent til proven guilty" if you refuse to engage in the process!!

Funny story. Well, i can laugh now, My x reported me to the police for damaging his front door.
I was so scared id be charged with something ludicrous like chipping a plywood door from b&q last painted in 1987, but i had no choice but to answer the questions.

SueSaid · 12/04/2021 15:53

'Witness statements are entirely different as you well know'

It would be a start surely.

Alsohuman · 12/04/2021 15:55

If they ask him to, certainly. I don’t think there will be much choice when Ghislaine Maxwell starts singing. It’s all a bit of a moot point right now though because in person international judicial interviews are a tad difficult in the midst of a pandemic.

SelkieIntegrated · 12/04/2021 15:55

@Taketheredpill yeh me too
Im wondering if this is somebody on his payroll trying create the narrative that it's hysteria to believe he ought to co-operate with the FBI!
Innocent til proven guilty!!! (But no, he won't be interviewed)

SelkieIntegrated · 12/04/2021 15:56

@Alsohuman they have asked him too.
He said he would send typed answers (that his lawyers can pore over)
