To think the late Duke of Edinburgh would hate a man with messy hair

Mr Johnson could not even be bothered to comb his hair when paying tribute. Disrespectful.

I can imagine what the Duke of Edinburgh, a man who dressed smartly would think of that. Probably including words that are not printable.

But Corbyn wasn’t smart enough to be PM 🙄

Johnson looks like a vagrant.

rainbowthoughts · 09/04/2021 13:52

Boris could do what many others have done - but some clippers from Amazon and ask his wife to trim his hair.

I am not a Royalist. But I think it’s really disrespectful for our Prime Minister to look such a mess on a TV interview that will be shown around the world.

Boris doesn't look like that be due he can't get to the barbers. Boris has styled his hair like that for years.

I don't disagree that he is an embarrassment, but to make out he is being disrespectful to the royal family for his hair is quite bizarre. His hair would be like this for any interview, any time.

People acting like he simply hasn't bothered to do it for this interview when he has looked like this for years.

Longdistance · 09/04/2021 13:53

I think an Alice band would look great in Bojo’s hair. Fuck knows what he’s supposed to do with that bushy mess 🤷🏼‍♀️

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 09/04/2021 13:54

I think Boris might have Uncombable Hair Syndrome. It's a real disorder.

Shopliftersoftheworldunite · 09/04/2021 13:54

@Saz432 dunno if the news today has completely gone to my head but your comment there made me literally laugh out loud.

Tal45 · 09/04/2021 13:54

There are a hundred things that piss me off more about Boris than his hair.

Lostlemuria · 09/04/2021 13:54

Get a grip.

VienneseWhirligig · 09/04/2021 13:54

Combs, hair gel and hair spray are easily sourced. It's all a performance with him. He would be having to stand out in a different way if his appearance didn't speak for him - its whole purpose is to distract you into thinking of him as a loveable rogue.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 09/04/2021 13:55

You can't blame lockdown for that hair, it's not changed in years...

thecognoscenti · 09/04/2021 13:56

@Antiqueanniesmagiclanternshow

read this article about Boris and his public speaking engagements

reaction.life/jeremy-vine-my-boris-story/

every single thing this man does is thought through, is deliberate.

he is exceptionally clever and manipulative and this is why he is so very dangerous.

Absolutely. He has always done whatever it took to get what, where, and whom he wanted.
OhWhyNot · 09/04/2021 13:58

It’s a very Eaton look

Most grow out of it

William would probably have this look if he had more hair

nancy75 · 09/04/2021 14:00

@thecognoscenti

Yes BJ does it deliberately. It's part of his schtick. I know someone who has been in work meetings with him and he will mess it up deliberately before he goes anywhere he might be seen by the public or press. It allows him to get away with being a total shit because there's an element of 'aw, silly old Boris'. He's a very, very crafty manipulator of opinion.
Recently I think it’s moved on from this to covering up him going bald. Have a good look, it’s just a messy comb over
Ericaequites · 09/04/2021 14:01

Boris looks like the Wreck of the Hesperus or an unmade bed every day. I don’t think he owns a comb.

doubleshotespresso · 09/04/2021 14:02

@Strangekindofwoman

Good god. Don't be so bloody ridiculous.
Not ridiculous at all. The man considering his hugely privileged upbringing and education is one hot mess . Disgraceful man without a shred of humanity or gravitas.
VestaTilley · 09/04/2021 14:03

I agree. I watched the statement and thought “the least you could’ve done was to brush your bloody hair”.

Johnson is a disgrace.

fizbosshoes · 09/04/2021 14:09

I thought the hair was a distraction technique from the waffly bs hes usually emitting?

My 11 year old DS has got thick crazy hair - we always joke about birds nesting in it. He is v reluctant to brush it but I ensure effort is made when required.

I was just going to say this, it's deliberate, he puts a lot of effort into that hairstyle.
HeraInTheHereAndNow · 09/04/2021 14:13

Possibly.

Prince Phillip had many dislike about people. The type of hair you had, being one of them, I’m afraid.

BiggerBoat1 · 09/04/2021 14:13

It is, of curse, and affectation. He thinks the nation still buys the loveable buffoon act. I sincerely hope the majority don't.

I agree that it was massively disrespectful to put on that act today.

Cam77 · 09/04/2021 14:14

BJ is, IMO, a massive prick, but he probably knows about treating people with basic respect than Prince Phillip ever did.

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/04/2021 14:15

It is. But then he can't change to neat hair for Prince Phillip because people would say, "hold on, he can do that for PP but not to announce thousands of covid deaths?" Which is deeply cynical and yes, disrespectful.

amusedbush · 09/04/2021 14:16

He constantly looks like he has brushed his hair with a fucking balloon. Nobody would let their toddler go out looking so unkempt, not sure why he thinks it’s acceptable.

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/04/2021 14:19

His brother has the same hair and manages not to look like a confused scarecrow.

randomer · 09/04/2021 14:20

@Antiqueanniesmagiclanternshow,I beg to differ with the exceptionally clever bit. He has the self assurance that money and public school provide. His famed talent for foreign languages for example, all lies.

Dunno about that, he and Prince Philip were birds of a feather when it came to racism.
