To presume that drug dealers have moved in over the road?

They don't seem to go to work, have five cars; a range rover, a mercedes, a BMW, an audi and a truck type thing.
A couple in their thirties with one child, renting the property in what is predominantly owner occupied road.

I'm going to get jumped on here, but they look rough, for want of a better word.

Am I being a twat for presuming they are drug dealers or money launderers/something else a bit unsavoury?

Nobody bats an eyelash at renters with one nice motor, sorry guys.

Why does the fact that they prioritise cars over their house mean they’re likely to be drug dealers? Is that a known drug-dealer stereotype?

We rent and own 3 nice cars and a 12 month old van (needed for work) I WFH and my husband works all hours outside the home. We can’t get a mortgage due to bad credit history so rent while we build it up and save for a bigger deposit.

And we’re definitely not drug dealers or we’d live in a nicer area ha.

Well I look like the scum bag who CBA to take care of her housing association house, garden scruffy, grass needs cutting etc, whilst all of my neighbours have immaculate front lawns. I'm nearly always wearing a hoodie / sports clothing and trainers. In reality, I work 60-70 hrs a week running my own business whilst most of my neighbours are retired, don't work, or work part time. They have time for gardening, I rarely do. I wear sports clothing as I teach dance. Appearances can be deceiving. Hope the scumbags don't disrupt your neighbourly Safari Suppers.
