It's for a clinical position on a children's ward. I've not interviewed in person for a long time!! Is this professional enough?

I wouldn't. It's an occasion dress. I would go for professional formal.

It is discrete, attractive, nice dress length. If you are comfortable in it , I would say fine.

Congrats OP :)

Always think it's sad when people are so keen to go on the safe side and be plain and not express themselves!

@zurala

NHS interviews are all score based so it won't make any difference but it's really not an interview dress and if I were on the panel (I often sit on NHS recruitment panels) I would wonder about your judgement in choosing it as it's not appropriate.
That actually explains so much. Your “judgment” is not wanted and clearly off. No one wears pants suits these days nor is all grey or black a good choice either. The only thing boring thoughtless attire demonstrates is that you have no vision or initiative. The dress is lovely and very appropriate. Good luck with the interview.

And all you judgy pants need your heads examined. Since when does what you look like have anything to do with your abilities!
