What are your underwhelming skills that you’re privately quite proud of

Mine are:

Being exceptionally good at slicing bread (straight, even slices every time, even on squishy, unevenly shaped loaves)

Uncannily accurate at guessing the time when I haven’t looked at a clock for hours - I’m never more than a few minutes out.

Tell me the things you can do that are not that impressive!

Oh and I can write forward with my right hand and backward with my left hand at the same time (beautiful script too).

But my left hand can't do that unless the right hand is writing the same thing.

I can make perfectly round cookies.

I used to work in an office. Did mass mailings .
Could grab a bunch of letterhead and have put exactly the right amount in the printer. did this regularly.

Can read really fast.

I can catheterize any human, I am like a safe cracker, bit niche but comes in handy in my job

I can remember people's birthdays and their children's birthdays and names even if I've had nothing to do with them for years. I suspect I have ASD (my son is diagnosed). This power comes across a bit stalkerish and I have to hide it!

Can also make amazing pastry as have very cold hands.

Can also untangle all sorts of knots. I kind of hyper focus on it and have long nails which helps!

And me! I can catch a returned pen lobbed from the back of the classroom without looking up. Even occasionally eliciting a begrudging "that was a right catch" from 16 year old boys.

I’m very good at day dreaming. This is especially useful when jogging and will often result in me conjuring up elaborate fantasies where I’m headlining at Wembley (singing whatever track comes on my headphones) to a rapturous audience. I’m a bit embarrassed that I do this as I’m in my late 40’s and it’s not very grown up but when combined with the adrenaline of exercise it can give me a super amazing high which lasts ages.

Is there something about Tetris/punctuation skillz that's inextricably linked to having the grace and coordination of a drunken newborn giraffe? Sometimes I think I'm more bruise than human.

Nah. I'm a complete klutz, and shite at Tetris.

I have a 100% success rate at winning Freecell, extending across two decades and half a dozen computers.

I too am a time knower. I can also read upside down.

I also have a woo and spooky sixth sense.

I can make home made playdough perfectly every time.

I'm another magic time teller - even though I'm dyscalcula. I always know the time to within a couple of minutes.

I can back a tractor with a ten ton trailer on it up to a wheelbarrow to empty grain. And I'm excellent at parallel parking.

I'd love to be able to fold fitted sheets. They always end up in a sorted of awful bundle.

I remember all the tiniest details people tell me about their lives. Its actually comes across as quite weird.

Another stalkerish one when it comes to dates of birth. Or random dates really. I could tell you significant deadlines from work going back for the last four or five years. Very boring!

Am very good at mixing paint paint colours (painting pictures not walls)

Despite my natural persona being quite monotone and not very expressive, I have an uncanny knack for impersonation, including body language/mannerisms. I think that comes from being an observer. But it's to the extent that I am banned from doing them around DH as it makes him feel uncomfortable

Good at making up recipes and guesstimating what amounts of ingredients are needed. Has saved me many times when we’ve had parties / lots of visitors to stay. Goodness seems such a long time ago pre Covid.

I can have a nap and wake up 20 minutes later.

Dates - any kind whether it's someone's birthday even if I haven't got a connection to them. I can still remember my classmates birthdays from over fifty years ago. Also for historical events.
I have great navigation skills for map reading and proved useful in pre Sat/Nav days.
Weirdly the one thing that has prevented me from taking my driving test is that I can't judge looking through a car mirror. My brain just can't seem to fathom which direction is reversed much to the bafflement of various driving instructors!

Speed reader here. I can also stop anyone’s hiccups and I’m a ninja at dishwasher Tetris.

I can name all 66 books of the bible in order. I am not religious and wasn’t brought up religious hahahaha

I'm very good at catching things, especially one-handed.

I have really good timing when crossing the road, and other people waiting will follow me.

I can balance a spoon on my nose.

Anything numeric - phone numbers, birthdays, number plates I seem to have a photographic memory for.

I can remember birthdays of people from school that I wasn't even friendly with, old phone numbers of friends that have since moved and changed their number etc.

Oh, and I seem to be able to beat most people I know at Scrabble.

I make the best roast potatoes

I remember conversations verbatim, and can quote exactly what was said, from years ago. Dh is shocked by this. My mum is the same.
