To be angry with my neighbours

So long story short had a bit of a run in with the neighbours a few years back, both me, my DH and the guy next door have moved on from it but his girlfriend hasn't.

The girlfriend will ignore us if walking past and refuses to take any parcels in now (which is fine). She doesn't work so she's always at home while her man works, so normally around lunch time each day she throws out the leftover food from the night before. She throws it out onto the street outside her driveway normally more so over our side every single day.

This evening while I was in the kitchen shes came out of her house and chucked food directly right in front of our car which is parked in our drive way.

I am livid beyond words because its evident that it has been a deliberate stunt and now I'm left with what should I do.

AIBU for not wanting to let it go, being one to many times it's happened.

YANBU I'd really like to pick the food up and dump it all at her door step 🥴

Does her partner know what she does, maybe a little word. Ask if she is ok as you noticed a rather strange activity of hers.

@CavernousScream

She throws waste food out onto the street? Where do you live, the fifteenth century?
😂😂 I was going to ask what kind of animal was she. But this quote was better 😂
Aprilx · 27/02/2021 08:21

I have read some strange things in the internet, but can honestly say I have never heard of anyone throwing their left over food onto the street before. How odd.

Ddot · 27/02/2021 09:28

I have heard of this befor my friends neighbour used to throw bags of food and rubbish over wall into alley. He would chuck it back. Once knocked them on the ed 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ddot · 27/02/2021 09:28

Oooos missed an e

skodadoda · 27/02/2021 18:33

I’m beginning to feel the need for a diagram 😉

RoSEbuds6 · 27/02/2021 19:53

Me too @skodadoda 😊 it would need to be quite detailed for me - variety of birds, size of pizza pieces...

Rubyupbeat · 27/02/2021 22:08

You have to report her, this will attract vermin, I am sure chucking rubbish on the street is a crime, dirty bitch!

PlsSendWine · 28/02/2021 03:12

Who ARE the 3% that think this is reasonable?!? Shock

sneakysnoopysniper · 28/02/2021 03:34

My dickhead of a neighbour was caught on my security camera dumping bin bags of rubbish onto my garden. I printed the thumb nails onto one side of a page and on the other a story about how someone got fined £1000 for fly tipping. I posted it through their letter box late one night. Next morning at 6.15 he was clearing it up. It saved a confrontation and now he knows I have evidence of him committing a criminal offence. I can still send it to the police, local council put it on facebook or distribute to other neighbours. He also knows I am watching him.

DoubleTweenQueen · 28/02/2021 09:43

Excellent work @sneakysnoopysniper!

@M24L

I'm glad I've gave a few of you a laugh I am laughing myself tbh with how bizarre it actually sounds.

There is still slices of pizza out on the road right now so birds aren't even eating it 🙄

I feel like placing my own food waste bin outside her door with a sign explaining what the bin is for and how to use it!

I'll be on the lookout tomorrow to catch her in the act 🤞

What’s the latest??
M24L · 28/02/2021 10:46

So little update for you all. I've been looking out since Thursday night and surprisingly enough there has been no dumping of left over pizzas which I find strange given the fact it was becoming a daily ritual so I can only assume she is maybe a mumsnetter and has seen the post 🤷‍♀️

I'm not going to stop looking out though so I can only hope that if she has seen this post that she won't do it again but if she does do it again I'll be ready and waiting 🤣🤣

Bugger! I've been rumbled! 🤣🤣

Mummyyyyyyyyyy · 28/02/2021 13:48

How disgusting. Talk about an invitation for vermin.
I’d video her doing it (if nothing else to show it’s not you) and perhaps speak to the boyfriend and ask him why she’s doing it. Hopefully he can stop the behaviour. Failing that I may report it to the environmental health if it carries on. However, in reporting her the behaviour could get worse.

Maybe it was an ACTUAL ritual - some kind of sacrifice to please/pacify the Gutter Idol - and now she's finally achieved Pizzana, she no longer has to make her daily offerings.
