To be angry with my neighbours

So long story short had a bit of a run in with the neighbours a few years back, both me, my DH and the guy next door have moved on from it but his girlfriend hasn't.

The girlfriend will ignore us if walking past and refuses to take any parcels in now (which is fine). She doesn't work so she's always at home while her man works, so normally around lunch time each day she throws out the leftover food from the night before. She throws it out onto the street outside her driveway normally more so over our side every single day.

This evening while I was in the kitchen shes came out of her house and chucked food directly right in front of our car which is parked in our drive way.

I am livid beyond words because its evident that it has been a deliberate stunt and now I'm left with what should I do.

AIBU for not wanting to let it go, being one to many times it's happened.

YANBU I'd really like to pick the food up and dump it all at her door step 🥴

I'm not sure why she's bothering to recycle the box if she can't be arsed to bin the leftovers. You can't recycle pizza boxes due to the grease.

mainsfed · 26/02/2021 12:47

You can recycle them if they're not too greasy.

letmeoutletmeout · 26/02/2021 12:53

She sounds like a slovenly pig. YANBU. Dirty piece of filth. I would think that was a public health issue. Report her, video her but don't put it on her doorstep. She sounds mental - she'd probably burn your house down.

Definitely need photographs of CF neighbour. Pizzagate.
**@TerryHearn

Well, yes I do, have been feeding the foxes for about 15 years. Mostly I feed them dog food in bowls but if there’s any leftovers from dinner I put that out too. It’s always all gone by the morning.
There is a massive difference between pantry’s leaving food out contained in dog bowls which are presumably on her own land than throwing food directly onto the street to be trodden in and go a mess.

I’d be contacted environment health about vermin concerns and asking for advice

jwpetal · 26/02/2021 17:38

Next time you see him, you should very innocently ask, have you noticed that everyday there is pizza on the road? see what he says.

mrslrc · 26/02/2021 17:43

@Ileflottante

Video her and post it to Next Door, the busybody social media platform. Say for anyone dealing with rats, blame number whatever-house-she-lives-in. Or scoop it up and post it back through her door.
This, I’d do this. Video it and post it on social media and mention the problem with rodents. I wouldn’t bother posting it through her letter box, that’s taking you to her level.
Shona52 · 26/02/2021 17:44

Video it and send it into the council

Seahorsemama · 26/02/2021 17:57

You should seriously think about filming her doing this and report her... this country has enough rats ...ffs it’s disgusting and why is she allowed to get away with this behaviour... has any other neighbour spotted this?

bamboothrough · 26/02/2021 18:04

Picture or it didn’t happen

endlesswicker · 26/02/2021 18:06

This thread has reminded me of the Phantom Flan Flinger.

Mikki77 · 26/02/2021 18:07

She's skanky.

Plunger · 26/02/2021 18:07

Littering, report to your local council. She is encouraging vermin plus includes the plastic bit. As she does it at what you say is at a fairly regular time the council will easily catch her at it. Also film on your phone to prove she does it regularly. Dirty cow !

MummyMayo1988 · 26/02/2021 18:10

I would buy a good, stiff broom and brush it right back on her drive. And video her doing it for evidence. This is disgusting!

Gabbianni · 26/02/2021 18:11

Contact the council - you'll get rats - that is absolutely dreadful

OverweightPidgeon · 26/02/2021 18:12

I wish she’s bloody order something different, I’m sick of fucking pizza every day AND I’ve had to join Weight Watchers AND my cholesterol is through the roof !

butterpuffed · 26/02/2021 18:21

I may need to invest in a street food brush

Hoping there's not much demand for them !

Tessabelle74 · 26/02/2021 18:22

I'd be reporting her for fly tipping, dirty mare

August1980 · 26/02/2021 18:26

Pick it up and put it in a nice Tupperware and return it - saying you dropped this!

Lunde · 26/02/2021 18:30

I have to say that I had a neighbour that used to do this (East London 1980s) - they used to throw the leftover Sunday lunch into the back yard to "feed the birds" - so roast meat, whole roast potatoes .. the lot.

UNTIL she saw a gigantic rat trying to drag a Yorkshire pudding under the back fence. It took the council many visits as she'd been feeding a huge colony.

QuitMoaning · 26/02/2021 18:31

Fembot123 · 26/02/2021 18:32

@CavernousScream

She throws waste food out onto the street? Where do you live, the fifteenth century?
🤣🤣🤣
Edda09 · 26/02/2021 18:37

Get a camera set up. £30 on Amazon. Send video to her DH and environmental health. Job done.

thosetalesofunexpected · 26/02/2021 18:40

Hi Op
My Concern is your next door neighbour throwing her left over waste will sooner or later defiantly attract the attention of unwelcome visters,(do not defiantly want want).
Rats..

You need to have a talk with her A.s.a.p to warn her you will notify (tell the councils envorimental dept officer about this.!
