To be angry with my neighbours

So long story short had a bit of a run in with the neighbours a few years back, both me, my DH and the guy next door have moved on from it but his girlfriend hasn't.

The girlfriend will ignore us if walking past and refuses to take any parcels in now (which is fine). She doesn't work so she's always at home while her man works, so normally around lunch time each day she throws out the leftover food from the night before. She throws it out onto the street outside her driveway normally more so over our side every single day.

This evening while I was in the kitchen shes came out of her house and chucked food directly right in front of our car which is parked in our drive way.

I am livid beyond words because its evident that it has been a deliberate stunt and now I'm left with what should I do.

AIBU for not wanting to let it go, being one to many times it's happened.

YANBU I'd really like to pick the food up and dump it all at her door step 🥴

@Eddielzzard
Dress up as a margarita pizza 🍕

TheSparkleJar · 26/02/2021 20:11

Try to film her on a few different days. Don't do anything like going out with a brush, let her get on with it.

Then send the evidence to environmental health explaining how long it's been going on, and that cars drive over it - potential added hazard in bad weather especially if it builds up - and that you're concerned that it may be attracting rats.

mam0918 · 26/02/2021 20:12

are you a time traveller from victorian england?

I dont see how the question is about which side she throws it on instead of 'Help my crazy neighbor is throwing food into the street daily'... surely that is not only antisocial but an attracter for pests and a possible danger to pedestrians (slipping on food etc...)

PlsSendWine · 26/02/2021 20:15
@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll it's just the man that eats the pizza she makes dinner for herself and the 2 kids. I will be reporting and hopefully can get some proof to support my concern.

I laughed alot at the dolls picnic table 🤣🤣 I thought it was just me who used these in my younger years.
How do you know it’s only him and she cooks for her and the kids?! Are you spying through their windows? Grin

MrDarcysMa · 26/02/2021 20:22

What, is this real? Who the fuck does that?

fluffiny31 · 26/02/2021 20:23

My old next door neighbour use to throw fag ends over my hedge once it caught on the door step and melted it. I threw them all back over her side and the next time I saw her asked her to stop. She tried to blame her dad said he must of done it whilst she was on holiday. I replied it happened before. Soon stopped. I'd scoop it all up and throw it back on her side or report her

Harls1969 · 26/02/2021 20:26

@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll

Can you leave a shit on her doorstep?

Make a log including photos and send to your environmental health departments ..

Are these two comments related in any way? Do the EHO want to receive photos of your own home-made logs? Grin

Grin oh that made me laugh!
ElleMac44 · 26/02/2021 20:59

Ewww that's disgusting! It's an environmental issue and you should just report her for doing it.

LoverOfAllThingsPurple · 26/02/2021 21:04

I’d brush it on to her side and leave it

LunaHeather · 26/02/2021 21:25

There must be a neighbour who has seen this and can back you up reporting to the council.

TinselTinsel · 26/02/2021 21:26

It seems your neighbour is an anti social scruffy tramp!

Bertiebiscuit · 26/02/2021 21:43

This sounds like a police matter to me - get it recorded and given a crime number by your local community safety team. Ask for their advice as to how to prevent this dirty woman from doing this - & maybe worse 🤢🤮

GADDay · 26/02/2021 21:49

Video her. Then leave a note in her letterbox to let her know you have video evidence and if she does it again you will get council involved and email the video to her partner.

Shewhomustbeobeyed1 · 26/02/2021 22:12

Just speak to her and ask her not to do it?

hannayeah · 26/02/2021 22:14

I think you should start putting little things in the spot where she throws it each day. Some flowers. A balloon taped down. Weird happy little things.

Aldidl · 26/02/2021 22:18

WHAT?

MessAllOver · 26/02/2021 22:45

If your DH gets along OK with her DP, could he have a word? Maybe ask him to explain to his girlfriend how to use a bin?

Tinkerbell1980 · 26/02/2021 22:47

I neeeeed today's update on 'pizza by the gate'!! Grin

Welshmumma92 · 26/02/2021 22:53

🤢🤮 dirty cow. I'd report her to the council. Some people are unreal!! 🤮

GoodbyeRosie · 26/02/2021 23:08

isitsummertimeyet · 26/02/2021 23:51

what type of pizza is it..

I bet shes a ham and pineapple kinda girl..

you cant trust those pineapple pizza eaters :/

cherish123 · 27/02/2021 00:46

@cavernousScream 😆 so true

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 27/02/2021 00:53

How long has she been doing it? Was she also chucking the food waste on to the road when the roads were all iced over?

I have visions of the two of you standing there with yard brushes, evilly staring each other down, like two bitter rivals on opposing curling teams with decades of multi-generational bad blood and longstanding unsettled scores between you; taking it in turns to frantically sweep the manky old pizzas back and forth, back and forth, in front of your car, in front of their car.... Grin

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 27/02/2021 01:02

That's a highly defamatory assumption to make. For all you know, she might favour the Geordie Special: the Howay - it's like a Hawaiian but without the pineapple.

Hang on a minute: she doesn't eat the pizza anyway. He's the one who eats (half of) it; she only flings the rest out in the road.

I don't know which of them orders it, but I wonder if they're making the textbook error of ordering the required size of pizza but then asking for it to be cut into 8 slices, when they both know he can only manage 4 slices....

Ddot · 27/02/2021 07:13

Take a few photo's and send to council. That will sort it out.
Why is she buying pizza anyway if she isn't working and he is, can't the bone idle dirty bag cook.
