May contain accidental spoilers
Has anyone else watched this? I feel robbed of the six hours of my life that I committed to this. What started off with a lot of promise just turned into utter wank. Big thumbs down from me, Netflix.

@BarbaraofKent

In fact the nurse specifically tried to warn Adele to stay away from him and his sister also told Louise that he was a nasty person, it also show's him stealing from his sister before he left to visit Adele.

But the stuff with the nurse was more like 'cheeky little shit' banter, and the stealing from the sister again just a bit of petty theft.

Not full capable of on murdering your lovely trusting best friend so you can steal her life!

Well yeah but if they had shown him burning a cat alive or beating up homeless people it might have been too much of a give away Grin I just mean there were subtle clues there that he wasn't as nice a person as he made himself out to be

Amazed people are calling it a twist?! Unless I'm missing another twist? If it's the fact it was rob, well that was obvious from episode 4? Unless my definition of "twist" is off? I wouldn't consider something a "twist" unless it came out of nowhere right at the end.

Anyway you're right OP it was a load of shite mostly and the acting left a LOT to be desired. Adele was good but the other two need to brush up on their skills.

BarbaraofKent · 03/03/2021 10:04

How was it obvious it was Rob from episode 4? 😂 We only just found out that Adele was looking at David and Louise in her dreams in that episode, let alone that Adele had taught Rob to astral project, he had hatched a plan to swap bodies, murdered Adele and was living her life in her body!

I didn't see the twist until the very end, but I guess I am just not gifted with your superior perceptive skills....

OhWhyNot · 04/03/2021 08:30

To me it felt like the author got bored couldn’t be bothered to write a credible twist so decided to go all supernatural and spooky Which wasn’t spooky at all just silly

I guess you mustn't be Barbara! It was obvious (to me) from when she started injecting the heroin into her foot in episode 4. By the way they were portraying rob and by the fact there was obviously some daft supernatural element what with the controlling dreams thing and it being Robs notebook. By episode 5 it was clear as day.

@dayswithaY

Netflix have lost the plot lately, excuse the pun. They seem to be going for quantity and definitely not quality, just piles of over hyped rubbish that that try to whip up a media frenzy over then they just disappear.

Agreed on Cecil Hotel.

Basically 4 hours in proving why web sleuths need to stop thinking they are sherlock Holmes, recognise they are stupid and stop trying to help on cases, and instead falsely accusing people and ruining lives. Bunch of attention seeking morons, all of them.

Currently watching the 2nd episode. Did Adele /(rob) know that Louise slept with David from the very start?
