Has anyone else watched this? I feel robbed of the six hours of my life that I committed to this. What started off with a lot of promise just turned into utter wank. Big thumbs down from me, Netflix.

I initially stopped after the first episode, but then read that there was an amazing twist.
And then I watched it and it was a pile of wank.

We binged it in 2 nights.
I hate horrors/physiological thrillers, can’t stand paranormal crap or woo stuff, but I loved it. And so did my DH.
Kept us guessing until the last 6 mins (we paused it) for the reveal, but we knew something was up from the moment David said something about the girl he loved not being there anymore.
It was a good suspenseful drama and I am getting the book for my birthday!

I have found my people. I don't think a book's 'twist' has ever annoyed me so much. I'm not sure I will ever stop being annoyed by it. There was so much that I really enjoyed about the story but then it all just turned into a big pile of shite.

THIS! Even my teens thought the change in genre 2/3 of the way through was absolute shite (& we’d been getting bored of the slow story by then anyway). Waste of 6 hours🥴

I thought it was brilliant.

However I didn't like how it ended.

Yeah, I didn't like how they changed it into some sort of sci fi thing when I was expecting a sort of suspense thriller, not that I have anything against sci fi, I like sci fi but I don't want to be tricked into a sci fi when that's not what I signed up for.

I thought it was great - but then I’ve seen entities in people in real life! Not take over their whole body as this did, but have seen them within people’s persona, you can also see them in people’s eyes.

I was annoyed for not guessing when Adele was hiding behind the wall waiting for David to come after the accident; it was exactly the same mannerisms & exactly what Rob did when David was driving up to the house just before they met for the first time.

I think the ending was really predictable tbh.

Not the best thing I've seen, plus the characters weren't particularly likeable.

I read the book and was so so pissed off with the ending so I'm glad it's crap on Netflix because I was half tempted to watch it!

Can we talk accents?
The Englishman became a Scotsman, the Scottish princess played by Irish accent with an English accent 🤯

If I hadn’t heard an interview with Eve I might not have noticed the Irish slip ups, but they were definitely obvious.

Lots of actors are brilliant at accents, wouldn’t go so far to say these guys were brilliant

The ending was totally off wall in comparison to what had led up to it. I thought it might have been a bit more “Behind closed doors” than psycho druggie astral projecting 🤦‍♀️

I really enjoyed it! Admittedly during the last 2 episodes, I wondered what on earth was going on, it all got a bit silly. However I loved the twist enough to justify it. But Adam, I hated the way it ended for him, it actually made me really sad. Over invested!

Just read the book though not watched the film.

Watched the first episode, won’t bother with the rest.

I thought exactly the same. Just a horrible ending that leaves a bad taste. I had to watch something else before I went to sleep.

I think (understandably) he thought she had a personality disorder hence why he gave her antipsychotic medication.

Yes binged watched it. Don't know how I feel as it wasn’t the ending I wanted. But at least I know Lupin part 2 coming later this year

I watched all 6 yesterday. I was disappointed with the whole paranormal aspect of it! I was annoyed that rob can get away doing that, and poor Adam! I really wasn't expecting it to go down the paranormal route, not real. Don't like thats stiff

If someone is acting weird we aren't going to assume it's the soul of a dead person are we 😂. I think we are suppose to be left guessing on that one, maybe he does during the honeymoon 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I just hated the ending because of poor Adam 😩

I wonder if there is a season 2.
