I was asked how old I was at work so I said 25 as I’m 25 in. July. Work fired then say oh you actually 24 not 25. I don’t see what difference it makes as I’m very nearly 25 so simple rounded up.

Does anyone remember the thread where a woman had some bizarre logic that meant she told people her kid was four when she was actually two, or some similar (large) difference? She was so annoyed that nobody could follow her weird reasoning.

My birthday is literally less than a week away, and I'm not rounding it up or using nearly. And I'm only a couple of years older than you.

You shouldn't lie about your age, unless you are you know 60 and declaring you are still 18. Its a really bizarre thing to lie about, especially at work.

My DM used to round up my age when I was a child. It used to drive me nuts because when I was 6 she’d tell people I was 7, and then they’d ask when I was going to be 8 and I had to explain I wasn’t even 7 yet .... very embarrassing for a child.

Technically speaking, you're in your 25th year.

I've spent so long believing my own age-related propaganda that I have no clue how old I am unless I work it out on my fingers...
