Having a bit of a debate. Family think 6-8 is normal. I have friends who are done after two.

How many do you typically put away??? Grin (hint: make me feel better about the fifth one I'm about to have...!)

Am talking about crepes btw.

Zero.

(a) We're not Christian
(b) They only taste of what is put with them, so leave out the tasteless carrier.

KaleJuicer · 16/02/2021 18:54

2 crepes each here (adults and kids alike) as pudding with lemon and sugar

Sue81 · 16/02/2021 18:54

3 for me and 2 for the 5 year old. Sweet ones with chocolate etc. She'd had dinner at childcare so was her dessert. General rule here is keep going until the batter is gone or you can't move, whichever is first Grin

CinnamonStar · 16/02/2021 18:55

I made up a batter with about 850ml milk, 350g flour and 3 eggs.

That made enough for 3 or 4 each - we all had 3 plus a slightly smaller one that didn't get quite to the edge of the pan.

MessAllOver · 16/02/2021 18:55

One. But ours are American-style, so an inch think and the size of a dustbin lid. Made in the biggest frying pan we have and you need to lever them from three sides in order to flip. DS had a third, I had two thirds and DH had two.

lioncitygirl · 16/02/2021 18:56

I ate 1. But I’m a small eater,. My husband ate 2, kids ate 1.5 each.

Woodlandbelle · 16/02/2021 18:57

I think 2 or 3 is loads

strawberrypip · 16/02/2021 18:58

I had 3 for dinner, mediumish sized. I find them really filling!

idril · 16/02/2021 18:59

main meal here. My teenage daughter and I had 7, teenage son had 9 and husband had 8. Teenage son had pancakes with his nutella rather than nutella with his pancakes.

1lb of flour and 8 eggs went into the mixture.

Disfordarkchocolate · 16/02/2021 18:59

Three, I could have eaten one more but the batter ran out.

What a strange response.

Back in the real world we had pancakes for tea. He had 4, I had 3. Maple syrup, raspberries and whipped cream.

Tip for really fluffy pancakes: put the yolks in the batter but keep the whites separate til the end. Whisk them til stiff in a separate bowl and then fold them into your batter last. Makes very fluffy, tall pancakes.

Nocaloriesinchocolate · 16/02/2021 19:03

Don't know - mine were a disaster!!!

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 16/02/2021 19:03

of good, 4 seems fairly average.
mine were preceded by a pack of Chinese style duck pancakes though.

pursuedbyablackdog · 16/02/2021 19:05

1 per stone of body weightGrin

Nutrigrainygoodness · 16/02/2021 19:06

Me and dd had 4 each for lunch. Loaded with bananas, strawberries and honeycomb ice cream. They were amazing. If we had more batter I could have a few more now. 😁

User2941 · 16/02/2021 19:07
  1. Each.
GranaryBread47 · 16/02/2021 19:07

My 5 and 4 YO had 2 each after dinner, 3YO had 1 and 8 month had a nibble of one.

DH and I plan to have about 8 each when they're in bed Grin

Updatemate · 16/02/2021 19:08

I'd have 4 stuffed with meat, russian style as my main then 3 or 4 for pudding.

But today we had American style for breakfast with maple syrup and bacon, American for lunch with blueberries and yogurt and then English style with Nutella and banana for dinner. The kids asked and we're currently quarantined due to DCs 3&4 so it gave us something to do!

Theimpossiblegirl · 16/02/2021 19:09

1 between us with the leftovers used for the next few days.

No wonder there's an obesity crisis in this country.

WolfHunter · 16/02/2021 19:09

None they are rank. Everyone else is having them for pudding. I'll just smash a family size chocolate bar instead. Grin

Theimpossiblegirl · 16/02/2021 19:10

I was joking. Wink

Am actually laughing out loud for the first time today. Thank you!
doctorhamster · 16/02/2021 19:12

3 each here and then no one could be bothered to make more batter.

The competitive under eaters will be along in a minute to tell us they couldn't possibly eat more than a quarter of one pancake.

Doublechins · 16/02/2021 19:13

I had 4 and now wish I hadn't 🤮

zeitgeista · 16/02/2021 19:13

i made 6 little tiny very thin crepes but with lots of filling, i had them for my lunch/dinner because i had a late breakfast.
