Does height matter to you? Short love interest

So I'm seeing this guy who says he is 5ft8 and I'm 5ft 7. He's not, he's like a few inches shorter than me. Aibu for letting this out me off a bit/alot? I feel like a giant when we cuddle and like over powering idk. I only ever where healed shoes boots etc and love a nice pair of strappy heels I literally do not own one pair of flat shoes. The guy is really nice but my head can't seem to get over that I feel a bit uncomfortable that he's shorter than me. Help?

I was dumped for being too tall. I am 5’9” and he must have been 5’7”, he had a real issue with it whereas I couldn’t have cared less. He is married to a little elfin looking woman who I have been reliably informed isn’t his type, emotionally it intellectually ah well his loss!

I really hate this shaming of women for their sexuality. We’re always encouraged to ignore it, if you had commented on not wanting to meet someone you’d meet online because you didn’t find him attractive, I can guarantee many women suggest you ‘give him a chance’ and ‘not be shallow’.
If you look to nature, almost exclusively the females of the species are far more picky about who they mate with, it’s hardwired into us. Wanting to date a taller man is absolutely ok. I’ve had men not interested in me because I’m short, so what?! My world didn’t crumble.

I'm tall and slim so my partner's height has never really been an issue to me.
