To ask what conspiracy theories you actually believe are true?

Following on from the thread where OP was looking for conspiracy theories for her kids to look at, I was wondering whether anyone actually believes any of the outlandish conspiracies.

We’ve all read about how people believe that Elvis didn’t die/Paul McCartney did die/the royals are all lizards/the earth is flat. But I’ve never encountered anyone who actually believes any of them, only people who talk about people who (apparently) believe in them.

So, what conspiracies do you actually believe and why?

Jeffrey Epstein, I believe he is alive (he has a lot of shit on a lot of important people), Madeline McCann, 9/11

Harry is clearly Charles's son, they look so alike! And Phillip too! I don't get how anyone can think different?

Whilst on the topic though, Khloe Kardashian's father is definitely not Robert Kardashian...

I’ve been looking at the April Lavigne one - what a pile of shite! It’s obvious she just grew out of her Sk8ter Boi phase and bought a few dresses - it’s clearly the same person!

Having worked with Avril Lavigne, I can safely say that, unless "they" somehow transfered memories from the "old one" to the "new one', she is one and the same person.

In any case, who are the "they" everyone refers to in these conspiracy theories.?How does one become a "they"? How come "theys" never speak up?

What amazes me about a lot of conspiracy nuts is how rude and arrogant they are - then expect to convince people!

American Gov planned 9/11 and it wasn't a plane crashing into a building that caused that damage.
JFK was killed by American gov/military
Bin laden was a total farce.
The royal family planned Diana's death and totally underestimated how much the country loved her.

On Diana, I heard the initial newsflash when the accident was reported, and it initially said she was seriously injured, then a few minutes later that she had died. It wasn't just in America. But it was corrected so swiftly that it could have been just emerging news and having not had confirmation from the attending doctor who confirmed death at the time of the first newsflash.

Oh and Madeline McCann, everyone needs to read the book written by the police officer who got sacked when he wanted to make the parents suspects.

I always assume people mean ' the Government' or MI5 or MI6 or some other agency that deals with 'mysterious things, ' special agents or the ' establishment' which also covers a lot!

My friends husband is a Freemason and she had to help him with his Latin for his inauguration. She said it's just a club for local business owners to network , mostly. Nothing sinister.

I must be very clever then, because I don't have any savings in the bank 😉. I have got a pension though so I hope that the people running the fund are able to get these returns.
It is the same as house prices really though isn't it? If you invest in residential property the figures show that in general you will increase your money over a period of 20 or 30 years. But it does go up and down.
I've got a mortgage too. So between mortgage and pension I am investing a good chunk of my wage, albeit not directly picking stocks myself.
The main problem with finance is that you have to have money to make money.
Your Joe Bloggs chap sounds like one of the marks that Was being exploited in 'Wolf of Wall Street' with the penny stocks.

There are so many mysterious about. Missing people ones are also fascinating and the myths tend to grow up around them. Sometimes it is hard to know what or who to believe at times.

Do you follow the painstaking and detailed work of retired police officer Dave Paulides on his Canam Missing Project YouTube channel? He offers no theories, conspiracy or otherwise, but factually presents thousands of fascinating unexplained case histories of missing persons, mainly from US National Parks.

I am of the same mind. I'm not pointing fingers but some of the evidence and behaviours of the group are very hard to explain. Certainly the police files have some information not reported by the British media.

And the injunction that one of the dads allegedly succeeded in getting in respect of an inappropriate comment he'd made.
