To ask what I am missing about bath bombs?

Loads of people seem to love them. I got some for my birthday and thought I would have lovely fragrant relaxing bath. So I now find myself sitting in a bath that looks like I weed in it when waking up with a serious hangover and that just smells meh. It was an expensive lush one too.

I got step dd bathbombs once for Christmas and she told me later that the santa fizzer which was white on the outside, was actually bright green inside and apparently it dyed the bath green too. I bet her mum was really happy with me after that.

What am I missing?

I hate them! And one of the kids got a bath bomb making kit for Xmas and it's actually citric acid and bicarbonate of soda that you mix together, citric acid can't be good!

I hate them, sorry ☹️
They leave a residue in the pipe work from the bath that gradually sets solid and will block the pipes eventually. My sister used them until she had to have all the pipe work replaced.

I like bath bombs - and also bath salts, bath oils, and bubble bath. LUSH is awful, though. I use a brand called Elysium Spa. They use fragrant oils and no other additives, and the 50g balls are perfect for a single bath. Cost about £5 for three balls, and I’ve carried them around the world in a suitcase and had them emerge unscathed.

You don't want blocked pipes and thrush.
