Ive NC for this as I'm a regular and this is a bit random I know! I've had a few relationships over the years and not been really satisfied with sex. Find myself fantasising about being with a man who is a real expert. Not sure I could ever have the nerve to do so and would have no idea where to start! And certainly not now for obvious reasons but I'm curious and would love to hear about other's experiences.

Newfor2021 · 17/01/2021 10:28

I haven’t and wouldn’t use one but an ex told me he used to do it.
He was in his twenties, and was mainly rich older ladies who used to pay him and give him gifts etc. I believe it was far more a boyfriend experience than just the sex.

jclm · 17/01/2021 10:29

It wouldn't float my boat. I'm in a sexless marriage but I couldn't get past the feeling of disgust from having to pay someone to have sex with me. It would make me feel worthless and ugly.

Ewwwww!

Why would you have sex with someone who doesn't fancy you? And probably doesn't like you. Why would you did that to yourself?

Just like a few years ago nobody in cosy middleclass land would believe female sex trafficking was a thing to protect their conscience

I apologize...I must be very naive. Who are these women paying for that? Grim
Lockheart · 17/01/2021 10:33

@formerbabe

I'm pretty sure men aren't trafficked across the world to service the needs of women....I could be wrong I'm not
I'm afraid you are wrong. A quick Google would tell you otherwise.

Men are trafficked as well as women. More often, men are trafficked for labour but men are also trafficked for sex. In much fewer numbers, to be sure, but it happens.

I agree. It's totally different.

Any outrage is ridiculous imo. It's just not the same.

BounceyBumblebee · 17/01/2021 10:35

I don't think bring a gigalo guarantees he's good at sex.

Apparently there are loads of websites with men offering up their services as prostitutes. They get zero business and are just chances thinking they can get paid to get laid.

Also all women are different. Knowing your way round a fanny doesn't mean you can satisfy all women.

I'd just get yourself a good vibrator for now and hope to meet someone you can have a real connection with sometime in the future.

RhubarbAndRoses · 17/01/2021 10:36

@formerbabe considering men account for 25% of human trafficking victims I would say you are wrong. Very wrong. www.apa.org/monitor/2017/04/sex-trafficking

AmelieTaylor · 17/01/2021 10:37

No, I haven't. No matter how attractive he was, no matter how experienced he was, I just wouldn't be able to get in the mood if I knew he was only there because he was being paid to be.

I'd rather use the fabswingers website & hook up with someone with some mutual attraction.

I get what you're saying, but just because you're paying him doesn't mean he'll be 'good', it's not like there's a skills course or an apprenticeship!!

Friends (genuinely) use fabswingers, they've met loads of people, some they see again, most they don't. Apparently single women are in demand.

Just because you pay for it, doesn't mean it'll be any better than what's freely & willingly available.

LiJo2015 · 17/01/2021 10:37

Have you thought of swinging? If you are a single female you will be very popular!

user1471565182 · 17/01/2021 10:37

Women on here willing to pay for it by the sounds of it.

Opheliaa · 17/01/2021 10:37

No it isn't the same at all.

formerbabe · 17/01/2021 10:38

How horrendous. Like I said, I must be naive. Yes I am aware men are trafficked but I assumed more for cheap/slave labour than sex. If they are trafficked for sex, are women or men more likely to be their 'customers'? I'm really struggling to see there would be enough women willing to pay men for sex to make it financially worthwhile.

bluepie · 17/01/2021 10:38

Ethics aside, I couldn't get past getting intimate and vulnerable with someone who didn't really want to, was just doing it for money. To me that is utterly humiliating, I don't understand how anyone can do that to themselves first and foremost, and then also be ok with making that person do it.

CutToChase · 17/01/2021 10:40

I've gone and read a few AMAs on reddit, seems like most of their clients are male and the female clients are aged 30 to 45

BounceyBumblebee · 17/01/2021 10:41

@user1471565182

But those articles are about men being trafficked to have sex with men. The other poster said men arnt being trafficked to service women. She's right isn't she? They're being trafficked to service men.

PeggyHill · 17/01/2021 10:42

I have spoken to women who say that their sex work is their own choice and they hold the power but... it never really looked that way to me. I appreciate I was on the outside looking in, so I'm not going to pretend that I know better than them, but it seems really difficult to say for certain that a particular sex worker isn't being abused. So many of them are. Maybe all of them are?

And it is no different if it is a man.

LaceyBetty · 17/01/2021 10:42

These men and boys are not being trafficked for sex with women though.

Labobo · 17/01/2021 10:42

I saw a programme about them once, The most successful one used vibrators on the women. i did think - what's the point of him then?

Those links are about boys/ men trafficked to service the needs of men

former babe was saying they're not trafficked to service women sexually and, by and large they're just not.

Regardless I haven't and wouldn't use a male prostitute because I'd be a massive fucking hypocrite and I don't believe paid consent is true consent, would have no way of knowing if the man in question was not vulnerable or coerced in some way, and wouldn't find it even vaguely sexy that someone was only having sex with me for money.

I've never heard of it happening in real life though of course I'm sure it does.

Even if you took ethics/ consent out of it- why would it follow that the man was an expert at sex? Its not like we all like the same things or theres a set number of 'moves' you just have to work through that are guaranteed to work on everyone.
