To ask something you’d love that you can’t ever have

Is there anything in this world you would love to do or have that just isn’t an achievable goal? You know when people say you can achieve anything if you set your mind to it? Well, the thing you can’t have either way.

Mine would be to adopt a child. I have all the love in my heart to give to adoptive children, I know I could love them just as my own and deal with the challenges unconditionally. Unfortunately I have a mental health diagnosis, two previous (malicious) reports to Social Services and a DP who doesn’t feel the same on the subject. I do have biological children but I will always dream of adopting.

Is there anything for you?

A proper wedding with my nearest and dearest.

To have my mum

To be able to sing.

My ex :(

To play in an orchestra.

Be a professional pianist.

Be a lawyer.

Very good at yoga.

Dancer.

Writer.

Be in a loving and kind intimate relationship.

Serious: My dad. He died young and was a heavy drinker and smoker. He became paralysed due to 3 strokes and 2 heart attacks. Its the reason I gave up drinking and smoking. I was 9 when he died and am still heartbroken at 42. I don't want that for my kids.

Non serious: Yikes I can't think of anything. 🙄

To not have been so traumatised by SA by my biological then step father that my mental health is so bad I’m living the shell of a life.
