I'm not a scientist, but...

I'm a bit concerned about the wheel. I'm not sure if I trust it. Also fire seems a bit dangerous. Grin

I'm pig ignorant but I'm right and my opinion is worth more than yours [hmmm]

Thelnebriati · 05/12/2020 12:30

I could tell you are not a scientist because you don't know how to enable voting so you've left us all to guess if YABU or not.

Schrodinger's Scientist, if you will. You wont get the reference because you are not a scientist.

CaraDuneRedux · 05/12/2020 12:34

I am a scientist, so therefore "qualified" to stick my nose into all sorts of areas where I really have no more idea than any other person on the Clapham omnibus (religion, politics, morality, economics, lit crit, film reviews...) and bore for Britain on the subject pretending that my opinion must carry more weight than anyone else's because "we scientists are clever, doncha know?"

(I would also like to thank @SophoclestheFox for introducing me to a wonderful German word this morning - nachidiot - someone very clever in their own very limited field who therefore thinks this gives them licence to spout shit about random stuff they know nothing about.)

flaviaritt · 05/12/2020 12:35

I’m confused - do you trust scientists or not?

Trust them to do/be what?

Ilovesugar · 05/12/2020 12:36

I have heard that lots of people who die can count to 10 therefore I think maths must be dangerous. Or is it making a correlation and causation?

@Thelnebriati shall we go hide in a box? Or maybe we won’t?

Except I just checked and it is fachidiot, thus proving beyond doubt that I am one! Grin

PowerslidePanda · 05/12/2020 12:39

I think the wheel has just been put out there by the government (ALL the governments, of course) to try and distract us from what's really going on...

Hospitals should use that to test if someone is fatally ill. I'm sure Donald Trump would back it.
Zilla1 · 05/12/2020 12:51

Retiremental, I'm impressed at your linking the topics of fire and COVID/chip. If only a mathematician would develop the concept/tool of a Venn diagram, we could analyse the concepts here and your dog could be at the intersection/overlap of fire and microchips.

Regarding the chip and infertility, I've not seen it set out by truth-seekers but being only a sheeple. I had assumed 'they' (the establishment/experts/Illuminati/reptiles/New World Order) had reached a decision that population growth and environmental collapse would impact on their survival so had decided the best way to survive would be mass infertility leading to population reduction in, say 40-60 years (don't get me started on two child family assumptions) though I'm mildly surprised that this would be the best way to reduce fecundity beyond economic development and contraception leading to spontaneous family size reduction and/or chemical pollution and/or a novel virus rather than a chip. Still, what do I know. I'd probably presume leaving COVID untreated would lead to a greater initial population reduction.

MissConductUS · 05/12/2020 12:51

Didn't Bill Gates invent the wheel? Bloody pushy Yanks.

How do we know it won't make people's feet shrink up and fall off from disuse? I think a lot more testing is in order.

Magpiecomplex · 05/12/2020 12:56

@CaraDuneRedux That is nevertheless an excellent word!

Zilla1 · 05/12/2020 13:00

Cara, I'm grateful, too. I see it a lot in academia where the finest distinctions have compelling importance in their own field then they shamelessly speak absolute rubbish with conviction outside their field, often about genetics (and race unfortunately).

titbumwillypoo · 05/12/2020 13:00

Thelnebriati, I didn't enable voting because my mates, brothers, cousin down the pub heard about somebody body who burnt their mouth on a marshmallow after driving to a campsite therefore proving me right on both counts. Grin

OP posts:
RedskyAtnight · 05/12/2020 13:03

I don't think wheels actually exist. All the people claiming they do have just been brainwashed into believing they can manage without their horses.

of course, if you had enabled voting, it would have been disabled because "They" do not want the truth out there.
Anniegetyourgun · 05/12/2020 13:09
@JayDot500 what is the point of making the population infertile? Where will "they" find the consumers/slaves for to consume their products and pay those rents? Indulge me, I want to hear the internal logic of that one.
Ha, you corrected me on the right way to gain traction with a conspiracy theory, now here you are wanting internal logic! You're no better at this than I am!

Feeling smug now Smile

Of course wheels were originally square but they don't want you to know this. Wink
Anniegetyourgun · 05/12/2020 13:18

Ah, that was a good documentary, that one.

Bill Gates invented the wheel to get us all using state controlled communist roads where we can be tracked.

They have brainwashed the people into thinking this is a good idea while we blindly give up our freedom to roam our sovereign lands.

You won't read any of that in the MSM, which definitively proves my point because They don't want you to know.

@MrsKJones

I'm not a scientist, but I am a woman, so therefore I know everything. Ask away!!

Jux · 05/12/2020 13:42

I've heard of these things called 'water closets'. I think they sound rather nice, but my husband says "over my dead body". I might try to house one in the garden - he might not notice it if it's behind a tree. What do you think? Are they dangerous?

Zilla1 · 05/12/2020 14:06

MrsK, was it Andrea Leadsom who was reported to say 'As a mother ...' to draw all the certainty of being a woman together with added maternal certainty against Teresa May in their leadership contest?

I’m not a scientist, but I’ve been using wheels for a long time and I have an irrational fear of fork tines getting interlaced with each other. You can’t tell me that’s not connected. And if you do, it’s because the lizards put Bill Gates in your brain and fed him some chips.

FACT.

SlothWithACloth · 05/12/2020 14:52

Well we all know that the scientists are in on it too Hmm
Don’t believe any of them. Do your own research from people who aren’t afraid to tell The Truth.

PhilCornwall1 · 05/12/2020 16:03

"we scientists are clever, doncha know?"

Shit, I'm clever!!! I'm a Computer Science graduate, so I must be a scientist (but I don't have an ology!!). To be honest, I just type shit on a keyboard. But I'm a scientist!!! 🤣🤣
