Someone posted this in a group I am in, and I find it really offensive AIBU?!

OP posts:
Bluntness100 · 28/11/2020 09:10

It’s just seaside silly humour. No I’m not offended. Why are you?

DriftGames · 28/11/2020 09:11

YABU
It's just a bit of a joke, tasteless but I wouldn't find it offensive.

sandgrown · 28/11/2020 09:11

No . It’s seaside postcard humour.

Rainb0wDrops · 28/11/2020 09:11

Not rip roaringly funny but I'm not offended

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 28/11/2020 09:12

it's a bit 1960's - I do find it in poor taste.
What was the context of the post?

buckeejit · 28/11/2020 09:12

Yes it would annoy me & id pass comment. There's no group that I could imagine this kind of 'joke' being appropriate. It wouldn't ruin my day though

Nc135 · 28/11/2020 09:12

Not offensive no. But equally very childish and unoriginal.

Besswess88 · 28/11/2020 09:12

Because it’s so smutty and it absolutely objectifies women.

Maybe it hits a raw nerve with me particularly because I have large boobs and have had to put up with shit like this (comments) my entire adult (and teenage) life.

WunWun · 28/11/2020 09:12

It's poor taste but not offensive. I'd make my judgements about the person who posted it.

SchrodingersImmigrant · 28/11/2020 09:13

I giggled.
Not offensive. It's a silly humour.

TreacleHart · 28/11/2020 09:13

I see it and think 1970s bad taste humour. It doesn't offend me because I think that time is over.

FippertyGibbett · 28/11/2020 09:13

No.
Cringy in this day and age, but not offensive.

Besswess88 · 28/11/2020 09:13

It hasn’t ruined my day ...

OP posts:
savagebaggagemaster · 28/11/2020 09:13

It's not funny and it reminds me of Benny Hill. Outdated and should stay in the past where it belongs

bert3400 · 28/11/2020 09:13

It would of been better if it had actually been funny

KihoBebiluPute · 28/11/2020 09:13

It's a useful way to filter your acquaintances for people you want nothing to do with, because no one worth knowing would find it funny. However it shouldn't be censored - freedom of speech makes it easier to spot and avoid the arseholes.

Tadpolesandfroglets · 28/11/2020 09:14

Yes. I think I’d awful. And not funny.

Tadpolesandfroglets · 28/11/2020 09:14

*its

TheRealJeanLouise · 28/11/2020 09:14

@WunWun

It's poor taste but not offensive. I'd make my judgements about the person who posted it.
This.
PrincessNutNut · 28/11/2020 09:15

It's one of those ancient "naughty postcards". A bit naff and embarrassing but I can't get too worked up over it. Has the sharer never seen them before?

Cam2020 · 28/11/2020 09:16

I find it pretty revolting. It's that old fashioned seaside humour as PPs have already stated.

HMSSophie · 28/11/2020 09:16

Yes.

NoPainNoTartine · 28/11/2020 09:17

Look no further than this forum to find people being offended by absolutely anything and everything, so you are just following the fashion.

Unless it's a caricature of some work colleagues against their will, then no, it's not offensive. Why would it be.

VainAbigail · 28/11/2020 09:17

It’s not offensive but you do seem to have taken it personally.

Helmetbymidnight · 28/11/2020 09:17

its a stupid joke for stupid people
