To blame you all if my Chinese takeaway is ruined?

Have just ordered our dinner, and included the salt and chilli chips for the first time ever, purely based on all the threads that rave about them

I had always assumed that they were just on the menu to satisfy the
unadventurous diners, along with omelette.
However I was reading old threads few weeks ago, and lots said otherwise.
I've been waiting for our takeaway night to test it, and now here we are.

Chinese food fans, how do you rate these chips? Are they really different to chippy chips? How so?

Will you post a review? Will there be pictures?

There's no such thing at the chinese takeaways in my area

You should have ordered salt and pepper quid or prawns. Amazing. But salt and pepper chips better than no salt and pepper dish at all

I have chicken in the oven though. With Aldi Katsu breadcrumbs on and I have microwave rive and m and s Katsu sauce. Super quick no effort tea. I hope it's nice.

But it won't be as nice as salt and pepper chips. We have salt and pepper boxes in Liverpool.

They are amazing. The flavour is just spicy enough and I love the contrast of regular and spring onions, even my kids will eat them and they dislike spicy food.

They are amazing!! Home bargains do a good replica of the spice mix, add onions and chilli and peppers and booommmm

They do taste different definitely. We always have chips with a Chinese.

They are amazing, awesome with curry sauce. I keep a tub of the home bargains stuff in the cupboard or when I fancy some home made stylee.

Chilli chips make life worth living...really hope you enjoy them

Yes to salt and chilli chips, and definitely yes to salt and chilli squid! We get that every single time

We don't have them here, but there is a very nice salt and pepper tofu with bits of chilli and spring onion. Not strictly speaking Chinese but a fusion restaurant with lots of sushi and a full menu of Chinese things.

Chinese chips are amazing!
I often send my DS to get some just as a side with whatever dinner I've made.
