To blame you all if my Chinese takeaway is ruined?

Have just ordered our dinner, and included the salt and chilli chips for the first time ever, purely based on all the threads that rave about them Grin

I had always assumed that they were just on the menu to satisfy the
unadventurous diners, along with omelette.
However I was reading old threads few weeks ago, and lots said otherwise.
I've been waiting for our takeaway night to test it, and now here we are.

Chinese food fans, how do you rate these chips? Are they really different to chippy chips? How so?

If you want to make your own you just need to dry fry sea salt and 5 spice. If you can get MSG obvs that gives you the authentic flavour

Ooo hoi sin chicken ones sounds yum, I will have to give those a try. For anyone that likes spice lidle do hot and spicy chicken chunks thay sound really dubious but are actually very tasty and nice chicken too, they are lovely with a sweet and sour sauce or just on a party platter etc.

@howmanyroads

Are salt and pepper chips the same as salt and chilli chips?

I need to know

Where I am they call them salt and pepper chips, but it's actually salt and chilli pepper hotter than the sun and I can't eat them unfortunately because I'm an 'on the mild side of medium' when it comes to spicy food.

But they do very nice normal chips so I'll stick to those.
