To blame you all if my Chinese takeaway is ruined?

Have just ordered our dinner, and included the salt and chilli chips for the first time ever, purely based on all the threads that rave about them

I had always assumed that they were just on the menu to satisfy the
unadventurous diners, along with omelette.
However I was reading old threads few weeks ago, and lots said otherwise.
I've been waiting for our takeaway night to test it, and now here we are.

Chinese food fans, how do you rate these chips? Are they really different to chippy chips? How so?

I’m really shocked there are Chinese’s out there that don’t do salt & chilli chips! No Chinese is complete without a few. Salt & Chilli chicken is fabulous too.

Word of warning. Never combine multiple Salt & Chilli dishes ... you’ll be dehydrated for weeks

Not sure I've ever had salt & pepper chips actually from a Chinese, but we've recently discovered Iceland's salt & pepper chips and become obsessed, they're so good!

Currently waiting for ours to arrive

They are utterly delicious and highly addictive even when you get super chilli lips 🌶

I'll simply have to order them again very soon for photo purposes, of course.

They were bloody delicious, and I had them with beef in black bean sauce and crispy seaweed.

Hot, crisp and covered in tonnes of red chilli pieces with spring onions.

I've never heard of these before but there seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for them and my god now I want chips.......

This was all I ate during my first pregnancy. We lived above a Chinese!

That sounds amazing. Im regretting our fish and boring chips order now.

They are absolutely amazing. We call them salt and pepper chips where I live, rather than salt and chilli, but there is definitely chilli in them (and peppers, onions, 5 spice and MSG).
You can actually freeze them and reheat from frozen. I did this when we were given an extra 2 bags by mistake.

They are epic. Enjoy.
