@TheTangoTerrorIsTerrifying

🎉 🎉 🎉

Be gone you Orange arse.

So happy that the American people and the rest of the world will not have to suffer 4 more years of his inexorable nonsense.

You seriously think he'll fade away? He'll be issuing proclamations on every issue in the next four years, he'll be as prolific on twitter as ever and unless the press ignore him he will be a constant thorn in Biden's side. He'll have already started to manipulate the Rebs for 2024, either he will expect to get the nomination or someone of his choosing. I have an awful feeling that he'll be far worse outside the WH tent pissing in than he was from inside the WH tent pissing out!
ScienceSensibility · 07/11/2020 21:03

You make lots of sense Plussize but let’s face it, Anyone But Trump for four years has got to be better than more of the same.

Biden has got a lot to do in a very divided nation. His age is against him, hence the selection of Harris for VP. She can be a credible candidate in four years.

ScienceSensibility · 07/11/2020 21:04

I think Trump will have to ‘fade away’. His health is very much against him. Time and his lifestyle will catch up with him.

Rhine · 07/11/2020 21:05

Watching the current Tory administration squirming and shitting themselves on Twitter is a sight to behold. None of the gushy congratulations we saw from other politicians. They are bricking it.

I love it!😂😂

Kljnmw3459 · 07/11/2020 21:05

@Plussizejumpsuit I share your concerns. There's going to be a huge pool of voters angry and distrustful of the administration. It will be scary to find out who or what will emerge to abuse that to their advantage.

keeprocking · 07/11/2020 21:06

@ktp100

Oh but he won, by A LOT, didn't you hear?!!!

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

See ya, you great big Cheeto-dust coloured baboon of doom!!!!

Surely he won biggly.
Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 07/11/2020 21:06

@Plussizejumpsuit - I hear what you're saying but I, for one, am extremely relieved the world is not going to have to put up with another 4 years of the orange narcissist and I hope that Biden, whilst not doing anything world-shattering (partly because of being hamstrung by the GOP in Congress), will start to heal the gaping divide there seems to be between the American electorate, and pave the way towards the two parties working together for a united states of America, rather than inciting division, violence and civil war.

101jobs · 07/11/2020 21:06

Biden and Kamala.... I’m confused why everyone’s so excited !

nozzel · 07/11/2020 21:07

Literally been stuck to the tv for the last few days watching CNN, I am so, so happy that dick is gone.

grapewine · 07/11/2020 21:07

No. Not today. He is the least kind person in the world. Kindness is not what he deserves.
This so many times over! Not today.

TheTangoTerrorIsTerrifying · 07/11/2020 21:08

@keeprocking - He is likely to be worse but inside a prison cell fingers crossed. He can piss in the tent all he wants but hopefully by the time his creditors have finished with him he won’t have a pot to piss in.

Plussizejumpsuit · 07/11/2020 21:08

This is true. Also I need to delight in him losing face. He's so arrogant!

I just feel annoyed at all the Americans a follow on socials acting like they've done some thing fucking amazing electcting Joe. When actually they should be ashamed of themselves for letting him be the democratic nominee.

He does have a lot to do! And the nation is very devided. I do worry about the potential unrest in the coming days.

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 07/11/2020 21:11

@keeprocking - "He'll be issuing proclamations on every issue in the next four years, he'll be as prolific on twitter as ever and unless the press ignore him he will be a constant thorn in Biden's side."
Twitter only allow him to get away with all his nonsense, which in many cases, is incitement to violence, because he is POTUS. As a private citizen, he will be banned from Twitter pdq. The press have finally shown how they feel about him and I think they will completely ignore him. He may set up his own TV channel, I suppose, and that will be where his supporters will be able to follow him. That, I agree, would be dangerous.

I was just talking about this with my partner. We said the same about him stepping down and getting a pardon. Like you say the nixon precedent.

Slimey fucker!
Oh god 🤦🏼‍♀️, never thought of that.
Is there no end to the slimy fuckers slipperyness

RiverMeadow · 07/11/2020 21:11

I don't think everyone is over the moon about Biden, that's not what I'm saying. Everyone is excited because it means (hopefully) the end of trump.

I did wonder if this would lead to a change in British leadership and Labour creeping in.

The pandemic has certainly made people re evaluate their priorities

grapewine · 07/11/2020 21:14

I'm one of the ones not over the moon about Biden. But I am definitely and unapologetically extremely happy to see 45 out on his sexist, racist, narcissistic arse. It's finally a good thing to happen in this shit year.

Plussizejumpsuit · 07/11/2020 21:16

Soz @Justgivemewine maybe have some wine and don't think about it!?

He really is an awful slimy fuck.

Tearsfortiers · 07/11/2020 21:16

I'm ecstatic that he has lost but I fear that he will be back in 2024.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 07/11/2020 21:16

It’s great news 🎉🇺🇸

ArtCatsPlants · 07/11/2020 21:17

I'm over the moon that he's out! I don't think he will go quietly but he will just continue to embarrass himself by not being gracious in defeat. I am very excited to have Kamala in the White House as well. Something good happened in 2020!

Username1243 · 07/11/2020 21:18

See you next Tuesday Donald

Peridot2020 · 07/11/2020 21:19

While I'm concerned at what havoc he and his gun-toting band of lobotomised reactionary fundamentalist nutjob supporters might wreak between now and January, I can't remember being this pleased and relieved at the result of a US election.

Biden isn't perfect, but I think and hope he'll be a decent (emphasis on DECENT) caretaker president at the very least, and hopefully America will re-establish its position as one of the mainstays of the WHO, NATO, the Paris Agreement, and many other global organisations. And well done Kamala too!

I thought it was very telling to see the difference between the footage of people celebrating Biden's win (diverse and smiling) and that of Trump's usual bunch of demon-possessed MAGA supporters. (If you haven't looked up that footage of his "spiritual adviser" frothing at the mouth as she led Prayers for Trump earlier this week you might like to.)

I was also beyond amusement at the very lacklustre "congratulations" sent by our own "beloved" BJ, in such contrast to the words of Canada and many others. I sincerely hope Biden doesn't forget some of the things BJ said about him (I see the Daily Heil is already trying to stir the pot, ghastly dangerous little rag), and I sincerely hope the GFA brings Brexit tumbling down to where it belongs.

But back to the happy. Welcome back, America. We've missed you.

Posturesorposes · 07/11/2020 21:22

It’s intriguing that Pence hasn’t shared or retweeted anything to do with the fraud screams. I think he’s distancing himself from this and possibly eyeing the GOP nomination for 2024.

Also interesting that melania has said nothing. Silence speaks volumes. She might be about to leave him perhaps.

I did consider briefly if I should feel sorry for the Orange Arse. Then I gave my fucking head a wobble.
