I’m newish to Mumsnet but have heard ‘Penis beaker’ being mentioned and I’m intrigued! I’m assuming it’s an old thread being referenced?
I’ve searched but I can’t find the original thread, just references. Anyone care to share the link if you know it? And any other ‘classic’ thread you know of for that matter!

I don't have the link, but there is a section on here for Classics, so I'd imagine it might be there.

IhateBoswell · 29/10/2020 17:40

It’s crap and absolute rubbish, I wouldn’t bother.

TheQueef · 29/10/2020 17:40

Elderly Korean Lady is a better introduction.
Penis beaker is crap.

There is a special board full of MN classics

Queenfreak · 29/10/2020 17:40

Oh my word, the fat ball one had me giggling for days

RufustheSniggeringReindeer · 29/10/2020 17:42

Supersoaker was the thread that convinced me to sign up to mumsnet

Me too. DH occasionally says “artisan scotch egg” and I start up again.
MrsWooster · 29/10/2020 17:44

Do NOT venture into Classics unless you’ve got a lot of time to spare and enough privacy for it not to matter if you snort-laugh quite often.

This is the best thread in classics, by a considerable margin. Definitely MN at its finest

@meditrina I was not ready for that 😔

The one where the OP accidentally cupped her CEO's balls is class.

meditrina · 29/10/2020 18:06

Understand what you mean @MonClareDevole, but would add that Classics is about the very best of MN, not just big laughs. It's a very rewarding thread to read

Warning - it will probably make you feel like crying

(should have said that in the earlier post)

HugeAckmansWife · 29/10/2020 18:07

Cutted up pear is my all time favourite 😂😂

SuperbGorgonzola · 29/10/2020 18:08

I second screaming at the sistine chapel.

I also enjoyed the lemon drizzle cake one.

EdithWeston · 29/10/2020 18:11

This one isn't in Classics, but is my all-time favourite thread

I often think of the “artisan scotch egg” whenever I need to cheer myself up

ILoveYoga · 29/10/2020 18:16

How has no one mentioned the Mexican house thief??

AintPageantMaterial · 29/10/2020 18:22

Oh my gosh, I had never read the fat ball one before. Tears rolling down my cheeks!

CaMePlaitPas · 29/10/2020 18:32

I read through "Penetration man" late at night on Sunday and literally ended up having a coughing fit from trying to keep quiet. Absolute gold.
