To ask for your favourite perfume?

looking for some inspiration. Ideally something a bit different. Also if I get some Christmas present inspiration for DM/MIL then that would be ideal 😁
Right now I wear Tom Ford Black Orchid

I love many but if I absolutely had to choose one it would be Jo Malone Wild Bluebell.

Your younger tastes are similar to mine! I also love hypnotic poison, alien and jo malone midnight musk and amber

Tom Ford Noir is my fave, along with Cerruti 1881.

For daytime I wear Define by Next. Really cheap and I always get compliments on it.

Prada La Femme l’eau - love this; so soft smelling, wear it every day
Agent Provocateur- old favourite for a special night out; very sensual perfume
Love Chanel Gabrielle and Allure also

Ma Vie by Hugo Boss

There are others I like, but this is my favourite at the moment.

La Panthere by Cartier is very nice.

Miss Dior or Alien are my faves!

Another L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake fan here. It's one of the few perfumes that don't give me a headache.

I adore this! The perfume parlour dupe is pretty good

My absolute favourite is a Kilian perfume that was a gift from my mum - v v pricey but it’s ruined all other perfumes for me. It’s Flower of Immortality.

Most perfumes give me migraines, but I love 4711. You can slosh it on after a shower because it is eau do cologne and it smells really clean. Love it. Plus it has been in production for over 200 years, so no chance of it being discontinued. That happened to my favourite lipstick and I have never quite got over it.

YSL Libre Intense is my new favourite. Very warm, maybe a little heavy for daytime, but gorgeous for winter.

I used to wear Chanel's Cristalle, but can rarely find it these days.

Nowadays I wear Jo Malone's Grapefruit or Lime Basil and Mandarin. Light scents are much nicer on me.

I tend to wear different ones at different times of year:
Winter is bottega veneta, or Jo Malone blackberry and bay or Prada iris.
Summer is creed virgin island water, or issey miyake sunrise.

Any time is Gucci envy (knock off), Balmain Ivoire, CKin2U.

Loving this thread - seeing loads of 'old favourites' that I haven't worn in years - particularly Paloma Picasso - I used to always have a bottle of that.

I’m also looking, but it’s difficult to find a fragrance I love. My favourite for a few years has been Gucci by Gucci but apparently it’s now discontinued so I’m currently using Chanel Allure.
I tried Jo Malone Lime, Basil, Mandarin but quickly grew to dislike it.
A friend wears Tom Ford’s Black Orchid and she smells fabulous but I hated it on me.
I’ll keep looking.

Fidji by Guy Laroche.

L'Occitane used to make a glorious honey and vanilla perfume. It was warm and sensuous. I adored it and was broken hearted when they discontinued it. I now wear Insolence by Guerlain. Always get compliments when I wear it.
