To ask for your favourite perfume?

looking for some inspiration. Ideally something a bit different. Also if I get some Christmas present inspiration for DM/MIL then that would be ideal 😁
Right now I wear Tom Ford Black Orchid

Love black orchid but you know what it is as soon as you smell it don’t you.

Things that are bit different/individual which I like are:

Fracas, Robert Piguet - this is my all time absolute favourite, everyone always asks when I wear it, I think it smells luxurious but not too heavy for during the day

Tocca fragrances are lovely (gorgeous packaging too) my favourite is ‘Brigitte’

I love Armani Aqua Di Gio - oldie but goldie

Another vote for Lolita Lempika - amazing bottles too

I also think some of the more obscure Jo Malone ones are nice, have to be a bit careful tho as some can be a bit room fragrance

Also love loads of the Gurlain fragrances

@Chrystal1982 yep I find that, my Mum wears a lot of the Santal fragrances but they don’t smell good on me at all! They might be a brand to try though OP.

Chanel all the way - wore Mademoiselle for about a decade but it started to smell different (to me) a couple of years ago, then tried Chanel Coco Noir which I really liked but not quite “me”. Now moved on to Chanel Coco and it’s utterly divine so will be sticking for now.

I’ve worn Cerruti 1881 for about 25 years, that’s probably really boring

That's funny, I just wanted to say that I love Cerutti 1881 but can't find it anymore.

Currently either Valentino Donna or Eclat de Aperge by Lanvin.

I've bought oodles of scent from them over the years and the service is excellent.

Diptyque Philosykos - it's a woody fragrance based on figs, allegedly, but I think it smells like crushed nettles and I love it!

My favourite perfume is Azuree by Estte Lauder been using it for over 40 year and still get compliments about it

I love Hermes Twilly as well. That's one of the more recent perfumes which I've bought.

YSL's Rive Gauche - have worn it for about 40 years. DD did a lot of travelling a few years ago and used to go into stores and spray this in herself when she was feeling homesick as I always smell of it.

On the rare occasion I wear anything else, I like Caleche by Hermes.

DH always gets me Rive Gauche for Christmas but last year's bottle is still full as I haven't been anywhere to wear it for 8 months!

I'm cheap! My absolute favourite perfume is called Soft by Al Rehab. It's a mix of lemon and vanilla and is absolutely lovely on me.
For something a bit cleaner smelling my go to is a Spanish cologne called Gotas Frescas.
Both from Amazon

L’occitane green tea. It is by far my favourite summer perfume but it’s not quite right at this time of year and I’ve yet to find a wintery perfume I love as much, although I quite like jo malone myrrh and tonal at the moment.

Clarinet Eau de Jardin for everyday, jo malone Earl grey and cucumber for a change sometimes.

I too have a Jo Malone habit!

Summer = Nectarine and Honey Blossom
Autumn/Winter = Pomegranate Noir or English Oak and Hazlenut layered over Bronze wood and Leather. Or on their own!

In spring I tend to try something new.
