looking for some inspiration. Ideally something a bit different. Also if I get some Christmas present inspiration for DM/MIL then that would be ideal 😁
Right now I wear Tom Ford Black Orchid

Oh I'd forgotten that one..I used to love that

Ysatis by Givenchy.

Best perfume ever!

An old bf said a woman walked past him, in the street, and that he nearly broke his neck trying to see if it was me.

That made me happy...there's a teeny tiny chance that I still carry a torch for that man.

😊

I'd forgotten about Ysatis - it is lovely.

TheSeedsOfADream · 01/11/2020 13:07

Ysatis is wonderful- but don't buy the modern purple boxed monstrosity.

I like that story of the ex! That's what I always think. There are perfumes from my past, and there are boys now men (and then someGrin) who I hope would smell something and think of me.

All time favourite is Baisir du Dragon by Cartier. Oriental, heavy, gorgeous -eau de parfum. I love most Cartier perfume.www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Cartier/Le-Baiser-Du-Dragon-Parfum-58961.html

Also love Shalimar.

I’m a total perfume addict. But if all the perfumes I have, Cerrutti 1881 is my signature fragrance, all I can say is to try it when you get a chance. Lockdown and all making that a bit more difficult than usual.

It’s gloriously feminine and sophisticated.
I also love Chanel Allure.

ilovecardigans · 01/11/2020 13:40

Aaaand now I want to try Le Baiser Du Dragon!

This thread is so bad for my bank balance... 😁

L'eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake
eau thé blanc by Bvlgari
Addict no.2 by Christian Dior (I think this has been renamed Addict Eau Fraiche).

Eli Saab Le Parfume Eau Couture

I love that one but sadly it's been discontinued! As has Rose Couture.

The original Le Parfum - which is still available - is my very favourite perfume.

Eli Saab Le Parfume Eau Couture

I love that one but sadly it's been discontinued! As has Rose Couture.

The original Le Parfum - which is still available - is my very favourite perfume.

You can get the Elie Saab Le Parfume L'Eau Couture online - I got a huge bottle via ebay - genuine.

It's one of those few recent perfumes which I love, I think it's the orange in it.

Over the past few days have worn Kate Spade Truly Dazzling and Chloe Love Story - both nice but not as nice as Elie Saab one!

I've also got an Alberta Ferretti one (discontinued but can find online) which I wear on and off - it's a strongish scent with Freesia, Pink Pepper and Bergamot; middle notes are Sweet Pea, Lily and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Patchouli and Amber and is a floral. It smells sort of modern if you know what I mean, toyed with Ebaying it but came back to keeping it LOL.

Only by Givenchy is Floral Woody and I loved that one!

Why do the nicer fragrances end up being discontinued? Bad sales? Interesting to see the names etc of parfumiers , unsure if my dream job or not!
