To have let kitchen go because Tesco's do not come in anymore

Just been cleaning the kitchen it is an absolute pit - when Tesco's used to bring the shopping right into the kitchen it forced me to do a little cleanup every week but that has been not been happening for months😝

Also please for the love of God could someone tell me about an easy way to clean up a bin? or a way of holding my rubbish in an easier receptacle than most pedal bins?

My current Adidas pedal bin is soaking in the bath with half a bottle of L'Oreal Dream Lengths shampoo the shampoo was hopeless for my hair let's hope it does a better job of cleaning the bin!!!!! It certainly smells goodGrin

Bin clean regime in our house...

Empty bin bag
Spray generously with Zoflora
Give to other half to apart with hose in the garden and then moan that the Zoflora makes his eyes sting

googles adidas bin

Toiletrollbuyer · 29/10/2020 17:18

Jeez spray not apart. The words aren’t even similar

@RoSEbuds6

I wonder if a 'Team Lazyfecker' T-shirt might be in order....

Getting old is a right pain isn't it, although the grinding sounds my knees make in the morning seems to entertain the cat!

😂Well you still have your sense of humour!!

I have also noticed over the years there is little point in expecting sympathy from a cat...

My cat shows sympathy when I first come home...oh no, that's just annoyance because she likes a feeder at home on tap.

Yup, that's why she is allowed to choose the bed she sleeps on and tonight I have the special privilege of lying around her Halloween Grin

I have ever had issues with bins/ bin juice etc. I use a small bin which forces me to empty it regularly. Food goes in a compostable liner in a good caddy. Recyclables in their various caddies so not much actually waste produced.
Buying a decent bin - Brabantia/ simple human and using the appropriate liners means I don’t ever have to wash my bin which is worthwhile as I hate that job. Spend on a pedal bin/ brabantia touch.

Yes, she's a big furry bossy purrer rules the house

Clean every day for 90 minutes...no I'd rather cover the essentials and have more time cuddling the cat!

Am so with you there! I would like to get a little more routine house cleaning into my life but nothing drastic - as you say cuddling pets is so good for our mental health and keeping us calm - they won't be with us for ever and I want to make the most of my time with my dear furry friends.
