To have a winter and summer duvet?

My husband thinks it's odd, but it makes perfect sense to me.

I like 4.5 tog for summer and 10.5 for winter.

We've done this for years and he's fine with me changing them, but doesn't understand it as he had never heard of it before meeting me and knows no one else who does it. Am I unusual or is he?

We bought a summer duvet this year and it's the best thing I did! Still using it at the moment. My bedroom is still getting quite warm in the early morning.

@StanfordPines

Thanks to this thread I’ve just invested in a wool duvet.
You won’t regret it I promise.

I’m resurrecting this to ask Baavet owners a question.
When does it stop smelling of sheep? It smells really sheepy and I’ve had it a week now.
