Shamelessly posting for traffic. I want to put together a cd for my mum to cheer her up. I've got a few really upbeat songs in mind but am hoping for more recommendations to make her a real feel-good-dance-around-the-kitchen cd.

So far:

Blanket on the Ground-Billie Jo Spears

9-5 - Dolly Parton

I'll Name the Dogs-Blake Shelton

You Make It Feel Like Christmas-Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani

People Are Crazy-Billy Currington

Suds In The Bucket-Sara Evans

Follow Your Arrow-Kacey Musgraves

Rock Me Like A Wagon Wheel-Darius Rucker

Bartender-Lady A

If you know these ones then that will give you an idea of the kind of songs I'm after.

Thank you Smile

Dolly Parton :why'd you come in here looking like that
I think spotify has a few happy country playlists you could take inspiration from

Grendalsmum · 13/10/2020 19:54

Gimme A Ride To Heaven? Not sure who wrote it but DP and the boys love it ...

Floralnomad · 13/10/2020 19:57

I love that song!

Also maybe John Denver's Thank God I'm a Country Boy. Never fails to make me smile.

Long time gone by the Dixie Chicks
Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band
Alright by Darius Rucker

  • Stay a little longer by Brothers Osbourne
  • Little Red Wagon by Gabby Barrett (so much h better than Miranda Lambert’s version)
  • Meant to Be by Florida Georgia Line
  • Honey Bee by Blake Shelton

"Bathroom Floor" Maddie and Tae
"Shattered Glass" Brad Paisley
