Guess this years John Lewis advert

A friend WhatsApped me the following which made me PMSL. I don’t think it will end up being too far from the truth:

‘Absolutely dreading the John Lewis Christmas advert this year. Probably a cover of Fix You by a children’s choir, singing to all their nan’s via Zoom while they stand on their doorsteps freezing their tits off to clap for the NHS in the 4th lockdown of the year’.

If you watch this years ALTERNATIVE to John Lewis ad with Bruno the Dog you WILL need tissues.

I prefer the Amazon ballet ad.

It's rubbish, what a let down! Love the Aldi one. But then Aldi were my saviour throughout the first lockdown too - shelves fully stocked, well organised etc. Blooming love Aldi I do.

The jumping around from animation/different styles was about giving a number of film makers much needed work, rather than just one.
I like the add and that they've practiced what they're preaching in it!

I like the JL one.
It's what we need when everyone is pissed off (with non compliers/gov/rules/media/etc)/ disappointed at limited covid Xmas. Just reminds everyone that life can be ok despite it all and a bit of kindness is good.
