AIBU to ask how often you change bedsheets?

I have a friend who does it every other day! This seems wayyyyy too much for me, once a week is the maximum as far as I'm concerned (unless it's children's sheets and there's been accidents obviously) and more frequently it ends up being once a fortnight

So people of mumsnet, how long do you leave it?

Weekly, on sundays.

Would love to do it every other day because I love the feeling of freshly washed sheets!
Would feel too much guilt over the environmental impact so I don't, except for yesterday when I washed them because there were some (period) bloodstains on them.

Every day

Every 2-3 weeks on average.

Fortnightly. We both shower morning and night

Wow that's a lot! Weekly mainly occasionally week and a half or fortnightly. If I'm on my period I'd wait to put fresh on. I do like the feel of fresh sheets but could be bothered with that often.

When we had a cleaner, ever 2 to 3 weeks. Now it's when I remember, sometimes monthly. It doesn't help that we also are trying to reduce our ironing servicing and I work so I do not have time to iron sheets!

Every other day sounds a bit much to me.

Ooh, I do like what the PP said, though, about showering before bed. It SO helps the sheets stay super clean feeling longer!
